Why do TRADOC nco's ask soldiers who don't perform to their standards: "Well, have you been to PLDC?" The magical two-week course that teaches everything you need to know about the army, and all the gayness it can come up with. Oh wait, excuse me it's now called the "warrior leader course."

The latest results from UN observers show that over 655,000 Iraq people (young and old mainly non combatants) died as a direct result of an invasion to find weapons of mass distruction. Both Blair and Bush later admitted that there were no weapons of mass distruction in Iraq. Should Blair and Bush face charges of war crimes?

and it is the only country that ever used Nuclear weapons. Is that of more concern than North Korea acquiring nuclear arms ? Also, considering the recent pre emptive invasions US has involved in, isn't it right that North Korea has the right to defend itself from a possible US threat ?

I can understand the concern the US people have when any other country acquire nuclear power especially a country not in good relation with it but as a non US person I feel more concerned about threat of US to world peace.

or is it too late? Now that N. Korea has the bomb, should the free world stand idly by and just let Iran develop its own nuclear weapons? Perhaps the time is right NOW for Israel, backed by the USA of course, to attack Irans nuclear facilities.

Any ideas anyone?

Armies all over the globe today are using assault rifles as their main weapons. In the old days, swords are their main choice for a battle. Is it a good idea for a soldier to bring with them a shorter-smaller version of sword nowdays just as a backup weapon?I don't think a bayonet is enough. What do you guys think about this?
