From what I know, Hitler did not really like Austrians very much. This was in spite of the fact he was Austrian.

Did he manipulate them during the Second World War? What did he do?

Why do military folks believe that people who are anti-violence and anti-war unpatriotic? Furthermore, why do they believe that if you don't love "Dubya" that you are unpatriotic? Why do military people profess their intelligence when they say things like "you are a tard"? Which was sent to me from a fellow who has been in the military for 7 years. I understand that military people often come from the lower socio-economic parts of our populace, but why do they try to pretend they are the best and the brightest when really they are trained to not think for themselves, and are fed slop information and propoganda from a maddeningly conservative administration? If you are unable to respond with an honest, thought out explaination, please, atleast keep your drivel to a minimum.

With the buildup and preparations being made to go to war with Iran, do you think, esp. asking anyone affiliated with the military, that more military people will decide to go Awol in greater numbers than from the Iraq war? If you are against these wars as I am, do you not think that our own military personnel taking a stand against preemptive wars speaks louder than anyone? http://informationclearinghouse.info/article15212.htm,and http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/082806J.shtml

I have been hearing that I have to wait for my DD-214 to file. Others have said to hurry up and get it in (while in service) because it takes so long to process. I've checked the VA websites, and other websites, and have found nothing. I'm currently on terminal leave, but I would like to get it taken care of ASAP. Thanks!

My younger brother and his wife are both Field Medics in the US Army. They went AWOL about 3 1/2 months ago, due to my brother not wanting his wife to get sent to Iraq.

Well, two days ago...my brother called me...he and his wife had both been arrested about 2 hours east of where I live, due to domestic violence. Guess they were having an argument and the cops got called. Anyways, I couldn't post bail, because they were also being held by the Army.

Well, my question is...what exactly is going to happen to them when they get taken back to base here in Colorado. My brother wants to be discharged, his wife...wants to stay in the military. They've been gone so long, they probably won't be able to stay in, plus the whole mistameaner charge.

Another thing, my brother isn't a US citizen...could he get a felony and get deported back to the UK???

Iraq. Iran. Syria, ....Lots of big talk with US troops dropping like flies in Iraq// Getting REALLY tired of all of these US-led war games.

The Bush administration delivered a secret message to North Korea yesterday warning it to back down from a promised nuclear test, and it said publicly that the United States would not live with a nuclear-armed Pyongyang government.

North Korea "can have a future or it can have these weapons. It cannot have both," Assistant Secretary of State Christopher R. Hill said yesterday. It was the toughest response yet from the Bush administration, coming two days after Pyongyang announced plans to conduct its first nuclear test.

Hill did not explain how the administration would respond to a test, but he said it is willing to sit with North Korean officials and diplomats from the region to discuss the crisis. "We will do all we can to dissuade [North Korea] from this test," he said
