No.Believe it or not,not everyone who follows the Islamic faith is a terrorist or extremist. Most of them are peaceful and law-abiding.
Why should these people suffer just because of a minority of nutters

OK, you need to understand that just because someone is a follower of Islam, it does not make them an extremist or a terrorist. The are certain individuals in Islam, just like every other society and religion that we would call "extreme". These, and only these people, are the ones that you need to be worried about. It is ignorance, like that shown in your question that helps to validate some of the extremists and their actions to the rest of Islamic community. Boycotting Islamic businesses would serve no better purpose than to anger those of Islam that what no part in this Jihad that Bin Laden and other sectarian proponents of violence and bloodshed are trying to get all of Islam to join in on. You also need to remember, that we (maybe not the American society, but the Christians) attacked them first. Remember a little thing called the Crusades? If we could all learn to be accepting of one another (like our respective religions tell us too) it would make the world a much easier place to live in and would help to eliminate the safe places these terrorists are afforded due to the hatred some hold for the actions we have taken against the whole of Islamic society.

No. That'd actually be counter-productive. The extremist factions would point to that as proof of their sick skewed agenda. I suspect the opposite is the way to go. Assistance to a bona-fide peaceful islamic/muslim business would set a good precedent. It'd show that being islamic/muslim isn't the issue. They'd begin to realize that loss of territory, respect, etc. is the RESULT, not the CAUSE of their violence. If a hypothetical jew and muslim were able to go to the holy land, shake hands and say "You do your thing, while I do mine." the world would be a much more wonderful place.

Of course not, and to even contemplate the idea is idiotic! Firstly, a boycott of Islamic business is more likely to drive people into the hands of Islamic militant groups; and secondly, why should we punish legally operating, well functioning businesses, often operating a valuable public service, run by people who were often born or have a legal right to stay in this country?

So you boycott a couple of Muslim mom and pop businesses in several US big cities owned by people who are just trying to scrape out a living and you think this will have a direct effect on people other people with extreme religious views.
This wont work. It would probably only agitate the extremist more.
Wouldn't it just be easier to round up all the Muslims in the US and intern them in camps until the end of the conflict?
Oh. No. Wait. We tried that with the Japanese... That didn't work either.
Hmmm.
What to do, What to do....
Cant kill them all...
Cant cut and run...
The classic right dilemma...

Are you asking if I should boycott the Arab donut shop on the corner to bring Osama to his knees, or are you talking about boycotting businesses in Arabia itself? Boycotting Omar the fry-cook would require me to make enough of an invasion into his privacy to determine his faith and may just give that maker of fine junk foods another bad thing to write his countrymen about. Boycotting business' in Arabia may even be more pointless though. Their economy may not rely enough on the foreign market, and their leaders may be fairly insulated from any economic pressure.

No, it wouldn't work. It is like asking if a boycott would stop a Christian book store from supporting pro-life.

It's a feasable way to make even more hate us and turn to extremism, and would provoke even more hate from the extremists we have now.
So, no.

Well, given it is policies like that that have pissed them off to begin with, I'd say it's not such a great idea.
And you really should be more careful with the use of the word "we".
