Carlos Hathcock
Widely recognized as the Marines' most proficient sniper, Hathcock had killed a confirmed 93 North Vietnamese and Viet Cong personnel. His actual total is believed to be well over 100, which the official count does not reflect. North Vietnam even put a bounty of $50,000 on his life, which was far more than other bounties put on U.S. snipers —typically only $50-$100 USD. The Viet Cong called him Lông Trắng, "the white feather sniper," because he always wore one in the band of his bush hat and only removed it once while stalking an NVA General.

In terms of total kills the most successful sniper in history was Finnish Simo Häyhä with 505 confirmed kills with a M28 modified Mosin-Nagant rifle within a period of 100 days before he was incapacitated on March 6 during the 1939-1940 Winter War (he regained consciousness when peace was declared on March 13).
In contrast Russian Vasily Grigoryevich Zaitzev (the famous sniper who was portrayed in "Enemy at the Gates") scored 400 verified kills by the end of the war (though some sources dispute this). Regardless of his exact number of kills, he is widely regarded as one of the most feared snipers of all time, most especially due to his exploits in Stalingrad.
The most successful female sniper of all time is another Russian from World War II, Lyudmila Mikhailovna Pavlichenko with 309 kills, including 36 German snipers by the end of the war.

People who commited all thier life to war, and how to kill another man. Not a soldier. Soldiers are trained, and most of them NEVER even see a real combat.
