There are a lot of people out there keep saying that "we need to leave Iraq". I want to know, what is your exit strategy? (If you bring up a problem, you better bring a solution with it)

For me the US is disarming the world of its "weapons" that's why they call the US Super Power. My questions are:

1. Are Communist Countries a really a threat?
2. Are you stripping off the right of one's country to defend itself? (Like Iraq, disarm then "invade" OR Does the US would just like to build bases and make the war as an excuse).
and lastly
3. Is it like racial discrimination? Only Americans and Europeans have the right to have High Tech Weapons, not N.Korea, Syria etc.

its like the US is the boss and the world follows what ever the US says.

No Flames intended im just curious.

What are your thoughts?

Consider it. If conditions developed so rapidly, and war against multiple enemies or nations became emminent, what would our fate be to enter into such a battle that threatens nearly every living thing on our planet? I know there must be a thousand possibilities if it came to war like this.
We have all the usual suspects still out there from the cold war era, and a group of nations actively having summits of "non-alliance", that no doubt involve discussions on a unified effort to someday hurt us. Just look at N. Korea, they are taught to basically not like us. China might not openly say it, but we can be sure they have a battle plan of their own. They have nukes, technology, and vast armies. In a moments notice, we could find we are under some huge attack. That sort of thing.
Our military response against a unified China, Iran, N.Korea, and other south American country(s), would be what?
Who would help if we didnt really start it?
End result if all got out of control?

Which is better, ANG or USAF, in terms of getting more flying hours as pilot-in-command? I already have a privte pilot's license and an as*s-whooping PCSM score of 97 and would have no problem getting a pilot's slot were it not for my eyesight, which is about 20/200 in both eyes (though I am considering PK eye surgery which supposedly is approved by the Air Force). Supposedly the ANG has less stringent vision standards so I might not need eye surgery if I went Guard. Also, if I joined ANG could I be sent to Iraq or Afghanistan? (I'd be happy to go to either country as long as it meant getting lots of flight time) Normally I would pose these questions to an ANG recruiter, though folks are always telling me to beware of what a recruiter tells you (my apologies to any ANG recruiters who are reading this, no offense intended).

AWOL soldier surrenders in Ky. Associated Press.
Wed Oct 4,

RADCLIFF, Ky. - An Army soldier who fled to Canada rather than redeploy to Iraq surrendered Tuesday to military officials after asking for leniency.

Spc. Darrell Anderson, 24, said he deserted the Army last year because he could no longer fight in what he believes is an illegal war.

"I feel that by resisting I made up for the things I did in Iraq," Anderson said during a press briefing shortly before he turned himself in at nearby Fort Knox. "I feel I made up for the sins I committed in this war."

Anderson, of Lexington, returned to the United States from Canada on Saturday. He could face a charge of desertion.

Attorney Jim Fennerty of Chicago said Anderson will be interviewed by military investigators, given a uniform and assigned to a barracks while his case is processed. In three to five days, he will be given a discharge of other than honorable. The Military men admire him very much.

I understand that you are no longer in the Army - but what sort of circumstances would qualify? I have a potential employee with one and I'm just wondering if it's a good quality or not.

Why should they sit on their arses watching us all getting killed on sky news, laughing?

If they were allowed to stay at home, would you go and fight?

I am sad to hear every day that cnd soldiers are beeing ambushed and attacked and ultimately killed in this taliban country. Do you believe that Harper should pull out troups and let this wreckage be..... there is not much we can do....they don't want the foreign troups there..... I agree for Cnd and international PeaceKeepers to go there and restore the mess....but these talibans and its insurgents have to be wiped from the face of the earth first. Any opinions?

Please rate your position using the scale below:

1. Simple Support (i.e., you support the war without reservations: Bush is doing the right thing, and doing it well.)

2. Complicated Support (i.e., you support the war, but have some grumbles about the way it was represented to the public and/or executed. For instance, if you think the U.S. got in for the wrong reasons but need to stay the course, this would be complicated support.)

3. Complicated Opposition (i.e., you grant some points – Saddam was bad news, war is sometimes good policy, most of the world and Saddam’s generals thought he had WMDs so the assumption wasn’t totally baseless, etc. – but nevertheless, you think the U.S. should withdraw.)

4. Simple Opposition (i.e., you oppose the current conflict without reservations or complications: Saddam should have been left in power as the leader of a sovereign nation; the U.S. should never have gone there based on its information at the time, etc.)

For points, elaborate
