Okay, this is a serious question! I've got some rather nice pics of myself and I've always secretly fantasized about being a 'pin-up', so I was wondering if there is a way I can send my pics to soldiers overseas - you know, as a kind of 'morale' booster, 'just my way of saying thanks' type of thing. Is this possible? And no, I'm not crazy! I'm actually very shy/quiet and totally normal.

that the Navy and Army are the only branches that
secure the job before you go to bootcamp and know what your job will
be, is
that true. I am thinking about joining the Coast Guard, so I would like
to
know!
Another thing is my boyfriend is thinking about switching over to Coast
Guard after Navy boot camp can he do that? and after he does military
he
wants to be on the SWAT team what do you think will be better for him
to do Coast guard or Navy SEALs? or does it matter? I really dont know
the
requirements to be on the SWAT team. well thank you for getting back
with me
it is greatly aprecaiated!

Also are you out at sea for 6 months at a time like Navy? I dont know
thats
why i am asking!

I HATE Tony Blair, simply for taking our KIDS to Iraq, to risk their young lives, for what??? He dosen`t give a **** about the consequences we are left to deal with, if they are not DEAD, they might as well be, their lives are in tatters, and the military help??? Where is it? My son is a basket case, cause he was sent to hell hole Iraq, ORDERED, he showed bravery, he went, was nearly killed. NOW? Not their problem, i sound bitter, twisted? Damn right i am, where is the loyalty to our soldiers, now THEY need help? Where??? WE need help now, but there isn`t any. We have to rely on the sinking NHSS. Yeh, i`m bitter, and not ashamed to admit it!!

I'm in a serious relationship, even though it's only been 7 months. And when he gets out of training and stuff we still want to stay together, and his direct qoute was "everyone who wants to stay together in the army, gets married." Is this true, or are there other ways to stay together?

I don't understand it. We have the most adavanced army in the world. We won WWII and the world loved us. We entered Iraq and now everyone hates us. It saddens me that the world hates us know. How are we losing the war, or if we aren't losing, why are we losing so many troops?

It seems so many high school age ( 17 to 20 year olds ) go into the military. How come you don't see thousands of college students lined up and begging to go into Iraq? Why only the poor people go?

Car and road bombs hit year high in Iraq: US military Wed Oct 4,


BAGHDAD (AFP) - The past week has seen the highest number of car bombs and roadside bombs in Iraq than at any time this year, said a US military spokesman.

"Last week we also saw the highest number of vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices this year," said Major General William Caldwell, using the military terminology for car bombs.

"The number of improvised explosive devices was also at an all time high," he added, referring to home-made bombs used by Iraqi insurgents and militias to target road traffic.

A week earlier, Caldwell said the number of suicide attacks in Iraq was at its highest point since the 2003 invasion, citing the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan as a traditional peak for violence in Iraq.

"As expected, attacks have steadily increased in Baghdad during these past weeks," he said. The United States military is having a tough time. This war can not be won like we thought.

soldiers who were killed just this week been released yet?

My brother-in-law went on an 8 hour mission yesterday morning & we havent heard from him & neither him or his friends have logged onto myspace which is very unusual.

When someone is killed they are not allowed to use the internet or phones until the families have been notified. Some of his friends have internet in their rooms & sneak on, but they havent been on either.

We are kind of worried, so help is appreciated.

Say for some reason the worl went to **** and you had to defend your family and house what assult rifle would you get and how long of a barrel. im asking the question because i want accuracy at long range but also not have the gun get in the way at close range. i know that swat usually uses 14 in barrel i think but i dont know what lenght barrel the army uses?
