I used to be really anti-war but I realised something - we (the general public) didn't have access to a fraction of the information the politicians did regarding that war and maybe there is a possibility that it was for the best (Saddam HAD to go!!) We vote for these politicians to make decisions like whether to go to war or not on our behalf because we don't have access to the confidential information that they do. All we know about the reasons behind the war is what we were told by the media (who often have their own agendas anyway) and our own speculation and conspiracy theories. War always seems to suck and lives are lost but we just can't make theories up based on a fraction of all the facts. People forget that wars have been fought for thousands of years - it just seems to be a fact of life whether we agree with it or not.

a legal war?
bush is a war criminal

Any violation of these two sets of laws is a war crime; if the violations are done on purpose, recklessly or knowingly, they are considered very serious and called grave breaches; Nazis and Japanese following World War II were hanged for such grave breaches.

First, I want to discuss crimes against peace and give you some sense of its application here. This prohibition is embodied in the Charter of the United Nations, the Nuremberg Charter, which is the law under which the Nazis were tried, and a treaty called the Kellogg-Briand pact. As the Nuremberg Charter defines,

Crimes against peace:
Planning, preparation, initiation or waging of a war of aggression or a war in violation of international treaties, agreements or assurances;
Participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of any of the acts mentioned under (i).

Illegal?
Because some people are unable to think straight. They have decided that they are republicans, probably because their parents were republicans, and they attempt to justify their vote. They, like their leader, are unable to admit that they made a mistake, so continue spouting, oblivious of all the facts.

The war on terror is completly necessary... i mean think about it if someone lets say a murderer killed your mpther, would you just sit back and take it...probably not. the same with the terror attack if we didn't do anyhting then what kind of country are we for letting them attack us? we can't just sit back and not do anything. You should be thanking God everyday that your have people that are brave enough to go out there and protect you while putting their own lives on the line not knowing what is going to happen to them everyday. because those people over in Iraq don't care who they kill they will kill bus loads of children and not be phased by it at all. and they are trying to kill the americans here and the soldiers are defending us but you don't even thank them for it because you think its just a waste of time. Bush's decision is completly right and he is a great president for it.

Because many people believe his outright lies that it's about a "war on terror" or "fighting for freedoms". It's REALLY all about THIS!...

Why not support Bush when he sends soldiers into a LEGAL war ?
Would you rather fight the war within the US borders ?
Those are your only two choices...
Over there now or over here later...
Because it is coming...
