BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A roadside bomb killed fifteen U.S. soldiers since Saturday evening as they were patrolling in northern Baghdad, the U.S. military said in a statement on Tuesday.

The statement gave no other details.

The deaths bring to 15 the number of U.S. military personnel killed in Iraq since Saturday. The USA is getting a hell of a beating.

Roadside bombs detonated by insurgents are the most lethal weapon facing the U.S. military in Iraq. U.S. military officials have increasingly voiced concern over explosives with shaped chargers that can penetrate armor. However, Bush says everything is alright. The Marines wonder why this war is not easy. Three years ago they were told the war would be a cake walk. What happened?

I was told they hate America's guts and that life means nothing to them. But why can't they get over what happened years ago, it's not my fault about the cold war, i wan't even born yet, so why they gotta make children who weren't born then suffer the outcome of a nucelar attack?

I'm a marine mom, and while I support my son, I do not believe in this insanity we call the war. My son believes he is there helping people who can't help themselves. While 'they' are over there in Iraq, building roads, schools, and helping the civilians, they're under sniper fire, car bombs, and engaging everyday, nothing would make me happier than sending him home, and nuking the whole damn country, and sending our boys to a country who welcomes our miliary assistance. This war will go on for a generation, at least. The politics of our country will be the death of us, while the military will take the heat, and our sons and daughters will die for politics, where is the jusification in that? Think before you answer, and remember, I am a proud marine mom, and I come from a military family. This action has been a big mistake, why doesn't someone admit it(gov't).

Bombing Serbia was nothing else than, raping one small country by a band(military union which consists of 19countries and 780million people against one small country with 10million citizens). It lasted 79days, throwing 23.000bombs and rockets during 36000 flights.
The "Clinton Doctrine"
"Bomb the civilians and the civilian structures until that country's military can't stand to watch it anymore." (Col. David Hackworth, one of America's most decorated soldiers)
justify this, and spare me Milosevic`s talks..

By this is mean that since terroism has come onto the news, a lot of people have started to treat Muslims differently.
This is from my point of view, I'm a Muslim
Becasue i had loads of British mates, and since the terrorism attacks, none of them have actually came up and talked to me properly at all, they've mostly just kinda talked as if i was a bomb waiting to go off.

Along with our real allies, the Irish and French. We would be able to stand up to anyone. Including the USA, who I doubt would take side against the home countries of most of their (white) population.
I doubt the African Americans would fight for the people who enslaved them in the first place if they had a choice.

The doctors there wasn't treating this with the the right medicines. When he came home on leave I took him to a Dermatolist.
They took a skin graph gave him a shot and put him on a cream.
6 weeks later his skin is cleared up. Now they are saying he will need a shot every 3 months and this cream for the rest of his life.
Can he take theses papers to the doctor there or will he need to get his own doctor. Will the military except medical records from a private doctor.I really don't know how the military works.

I am shipping out to Great Lakes November 29th and I am very excited about the possibility's that lay ahead as well as the challenges.

I am very motivated in my training and I have given up smoking and have been swimming, weight lifting as well as running 3 times a week getting my body is some sort of physical shape.

I am trying to find out what exactly is in the PT test so I can be somewhat prepared for whats ahead.

How many miles do you have to run in order to pass
How many pushups and setups in order to pass
How fast and how far do you need to swim in order to pass

any other thing I forgot would be apreciated as well

My other questions is I am enlisted as a Seasman Recruit, called "The oldest job in the Navy",any people who are or ever been in the Navy can shed some light on this job and how fast you can increase your rank if you do well

One again thanks

Wanting to know how many vets (Iraqi, Vietnam, doesn't matter) have taken their lives because of PTSD. We lost our beloved Josh and would like to know (since we can't find a number anywhere, nor can we get anyone to tell us) how many others are out there.

From what I have read in here I ask.
Why is the Army, so quick to throw their soldiers out instead of trying to fix the problem or issues the soldier has. I've seen it when I was in, instead of trying to help you through a tough time in your life, they say we don't need this, get out!
So much for "Of the Troops, For the Troops"
Granted I know it depends on the unit sometimes, I tried to go to a different unit, my orders got magically deleted.
