Are there any reasons for justified AWOL?There were special circumstances for entire enlistment...good references...bad decisions!

Well if you have a dishonerable discharge the decision has been made and the paperwork filed ... sorry bud but your out.
From what you said my guess is you went AWOL.. my question to you is why dind't you go for a medical discharge if it was health problems?
Anyway your pretty much screwed now so the short answer is no... Here is the good news: Getting a dishonerable isn't going to stop you from getting all jobs... It can,, but in most cases an employer will listen to your story.. if they believe you they can overlook it. Hell if you have to don't even mention prior military service on your applications to jobs.. employers nowdays really seem to not care about past military things... I know my absolutly excellent military career never helped me get a job.

That's your excuse? How lame! Conscientious objectors at least had religious and political motives for their refusal to join the army.

You are pathetic. No one is going to use that as justification to appeal your dishonorable discharge
