I think going to war was a good idea. I think the "Why when will it be over. whaaaaa....whaaa..." people can just get over it. If it were not for war we wouldn't have our freedom today. If you want to be in sissy nation your in the wrong one. Who agrees?

"Hello Insurgents, I want to say how sorry I am that we invaded your country. As you know by now 63% of the American people do not support the war so I would say we will cut and run in about three years. It took us 10 years to cut and run from Vietnam but I hope we wise up fast this time around. We, the American people, know you have the right to defend Iraq and let me tell you this. You are doing a very good job on your part. As you know about this type of war all you have to do is wear the USA down and we will run like a scared dog after about 3 more years. We don't have a heart for a long drawn out war. But don't worry. After you whip us we will get along with you. We are now friends with Vietnam and they killed 56,876 of us. I hope someday we can shake hands and forget about the wrong done to you by the USA. ::Update...* As we now know you killed 9 Marines over the weekend. The everyday American wants out. The USA is so wrong to invade your good country. We are sorry*.

Pre-trial hearings for two mean hateful US marines accused of murdering innocent Iraqi civilian in April near the town of Hamdania have been postponed, the US military said in a statement

The article 32 hearing for marine corporals Marshall Magincalda and Trent Thomas was originally scheduled to be held Monday at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, located (80 miles) southeast of Los Angeles.

The "article 32" hearing in the US military justice system is comparable to a grand jury, which under US criminal law determines if enough evidence exists to refer the case to trial.

If found guilty, the men may face the death penalty. However, President Bush will pardon those good Marines because doing away with innocent Arabs is the American way.

Can anyone find any war that had nothing to do with someone gaining money. Everyone is blaming Bush that the war is about money and not weapons, and all I have to say is DUHHHH, every war has been fought for money and I want to see if anyone can prove me wrong.

I am not worried about any written tests involved, and have a sufficiently high ACT score to qualify for OCS. I would consider a career in the USMC, and also to go Officer through the ECP or whatever. It's really a matter of respect once I'm a mustang and possibly having to go to a normal college four years late vs. the civilian respect of having been an officer regardless of good or bad.

I know this sounds like a crazy question but let me tell you the USPS is not helpful. Was wondering if anyone else shipped something to a base and it took forever to get there? I'm in CA and the package is going to MS. I shipped it Priority/Airmail Insured. Post office says I have to wait 21 days to put in an inquiry. Thanks for any help, I was trying to send him a piece of home but the darn postal service is not cooperating. Thanks!!!! (Didn't know what other category to put this in)

Wouldnt it be possible to reduce US forces in Iraq if someone were to persuade other nations that they also have vested interests in keeping the peace there until Iraqi forces are up to the job?

I hear so many times of how the military brainwashes people and yadda yadda yadda. It must feel real good to sit on the couch eating twinkies, and watching opera knowing some brainwashed kid is protecting your lazy @$$. My question for you is who's going to protect you if we didn't have the brave men and women fighting for you. Everytime you exercise you freedoms, remember it has a soldier's blood on it. You exercise rights given to you by the lives of service members (myself) and critisize them in the same breath. Didn't they fight so yo can have that right?

How in the hell can you say that there should be a set date for troop withdrawal from Iraq? Do you have any idea what that will cause? I agree it is time we need to bring some troops back, but there is no way we can withdraw more than 50% between now and january. Comprimise people!!!
