Does anyone find them remotely interesting? I don't even find them remotely entertaining? Do the taxpayers fund them, are they part of the RAF? Do they have a real job other than dashing around the sky's letting off smoke from the @rses of their planes?

Sorry... too many questions rolled into one...

How do the young 16 to 25 year old immigrants that enter the uk feel about the possiblity of having to serve 2 years national service on entry to the uk as a way of proving that they are willing to support this small country of ours in times of need.Would you be prepared to move back to your own country's of origin if you didnt wish to participate in national service ???

Hi all.Does anyone think that they should bring back national service as a way to combat the gang culture and bolster our already over stretched armed forces.
It should have a 2 year set period for all.
A new national service scheme should be for the 16 to 25 age group and incorperate only those that are unemployed or in prison custody for minor offences.
Colour and creed should not be an issue, if you fit the criteria you are in simple as that..
Immigrants in and coming to this country should also be included in this on the grounds of weeding out those that dont want to stand by this country in times of need.
Those that are not prepared to except this, are obviously showing that they will not be prepared to stand up and protect the country they want to live in and should be removed back to there country of origin.
I think this would be an excellent way of combating the yob and gang culture, cure overcrowding in the prisons, aid the unemployed situation and sort out the scroungers

Stop acting stupidly . He already told you he will not comply to that demand during his presidency ; But people keep on camping around the White House and some government buildings .This is what you should request instead : ASK Pr BUSH TO SEND HIS TWO DAUGHTERS IN IRAQ ( not to stay in the embassy but to go in battle field ) FOR AT LEAST A YEAR . And if we're a little bit lucky one of them will probably get killed .And Pr. G.W. Bush will know what it feels like to lose a child in one stupid war and he'll obviously brinks our soldiers back . What do you think , got a better idea ?

I know Americans know very little to nothing about the Australian/New Zealand Army activities in Vietnam. But apart from them there were a number of other countries that participated like, Sth Korea, The Philippienes & Thailand. Have there been any books written on their exploits.

I was in the Marine Corps for over 6 years on active duty. A year after seperating, I got a job offer doing a good job under civilian standards but in order to get the job, I'd have to join the Air National Guard. My question is if anyone out there has gone from the Corps to the Guard, or army to guard, or navy to air force, or army to navy, etc. What was the process? Did you lose your pay grade/rank? Did you gain pay grade/rank? What about all your awards? Any and all info is much appreciated.
