As a veteran of another war and a person who has had 2 relatives and 3 friends in Iraq. They need to finish the job. They are not the ones complaining so why are you?
What your saying is the same as if the Republicans wanted Chelsea Clinton to go to Bosnia for a year and you hoped she was killed!
People like you are the reason Democrats cannot get anyone elected. Too Many screaming, whining, extreme "BS" Liberals, wanting to kill and punish anyone that doesn't agree with you and school kid views, ruining what used to be a good party. That by the way is called socialism. In that system you wouldn't be allowed to say anything bad about your countries leader. That put your *** in prison. I believe they call them political prisoners

You think we would be lucky if one of the President's children died in Iraq? Do we really want to punish the son (daughter) for the sins of the father?
I think withdrawing the troops now is unrealistic and unfair to the Iraqi government and to the Iraqi people. I also belive that pulling the troops out before we accomplish our mission would be an insult to those who have already paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives. I think we should send more troops to Iraq so we are better equipped to face the adversities we have. I also think that we have to stop figthing the war on CNN. If the President concedes to every media whim and the fickleness of public opinion, the government will never accomplish anything.

I have lived through wars and I do not by any means support what Pr Bush is doing but I do believe that if he removes the troops now then all the lives that have been lost will have been in vain. As in any multi faceted problem there is no easy answer. Bush does not know how it feels to have lost a loved one in a war or natural disaster, but it is his duty to run this country since we elected him. Yes the war is stupid but the country we have gone to war with is in ruin if we pull out now there can be no hope for the innocent civilians.

Remember clinton, dodger of draft, coward completely.
YES, I want the troops home, I want them put on the southern US border with orders to do what is necessary to stop the illegal aliens from entering the USA.
BUT, first I want enough troops in Iraq to do the job quickly, turn them loose in Iraq and allow them to do the job that was started.
Killing bush's daughter would accomplish nothing. More troops are needed, a lot more.
Think of the US taxpayer money wasted searching for that lefty john kennedy jr when he let his ego surpass his ability and crashed his plane into the sea. Want to talk favoritism, there you have it. JKjr was no more important than a homeless person.
A better idea? YES, hell yes.... put enough troops in Iraq to finish, take the handcuffs off the troops, and GET MEAN and TOUGH with Islamo-fascism, put the damn HAMMER DOWN HARD and put an end to that damn conflict.

I'm afraid that most any idea is better than that one. No one in this country was forced to send their son or daughter to Iraq - or even have them join the military - why should Bush be singled out?
Contrary to what you obviously believe, I think George Bush is on the right track in kicking the Islamic terrorists' asses on their own turf.
In the past, inaction only got us attacked again and there's no reson to believe that if we bury our heads in the sand, we won't be attacked again.
YOU stop acting stupidly and read on::
Embassy bombings - we did nothing - we were attacked again
First trade center bombing - we did nothing - another attack
USS Cole - we did nothing - and they hit us again
9/11 - We respond with military force - to date - no attack
Well, think you can you see a pattern here??

It's an idiotic war that really does'nt help us fight terrorism a significant amount unless you live in la la land, but I do think we need to keep our troops there and try our best to provide some sort of security to the people of Iraq, I don't want the world and especially the terrorists to think we run at the first sign of casualties, when you have an idiot in charge, yer bound to have idiotic problems.

it truly is punctiliously as much as the government of australia to make that determination. even although you're allied individuals might desire to appreciate you're determination. inspite of the undeniable fact that a lot of human beings are blind and dont look on the info that one and began this conflict interior the 1st place. Muslim extreminism has killed MANY foreigners till now the Iraq conflict. Iran revolution, Lebanon, Sudan, united statesCole, Kuwait invasion. the 1st gulf conflict grew to become into an entire failure because of the fact we did no longer instill defeat interior the Iraq human beings. They concept they gained the conflict. We fail in this conflict because of the fact we under no circumstances instilled defeat. each so often doing that includes no longer uncomplicated possibilities like back in 1945 and Hiroshima. the factor of in certainty is that religious followers have been killing our human beings long till we've executed something.

Are you saying you want the pres. young daughters killed? How passionate and courageous you must be. I do not totally agree with our foreign policy in regards to the war but I will tell you this: its an all volunteer army. The men and women that serve in the armed forces understand the dangers. You are despicable

"Stop acting stupidly."
Tell you what - you go first. What do you say, are you up to cleaning up YOUR act?
Oh, yes, most definitely - I've got a better idea! Stop babbling and start making sense or just bag it - you know, get a job or something instead of hanging around in your jammies clogging up this "forum" with your infinite wisdom and blinding insights.
