im torn between joining the navy or the airforce what should i do what brancher have what benefits? In the navy are you cooped up on a ship for long periods of time? What is the airforce like?

I'm 24 years old, and I really don't want to have to shoot anyone. I don't have a high school diploma, only a GED. That most likely disqualifies me from the Airforce, and the Coast Guard. They accept them but rarely from what I have gathered. I have looked at the Army as a last resort throughout my life. Even though I know that I would do very well within it. I want to be in a intelligence or medical MOS since it would help me when I'm done with my term. I want to know if there is any way to go active, but not be in a combat deployable position? I'm just trying to make sure I make a wise decision and not a foolish one to my own personal morals. I want to join, but love my job... not hate it.

My brother joined the airforce and has been in bootcamp for a couple of weeks now. I would like to understand what exactly goes on during bootcamp for the men. Two of my cousins who are girls joined the airforce and they enjoyed it, but I know it is different for the men than the woman. I would like to know your stories. Thank you!

i mean one soldier has being held captive,why do the Israelis overreact and send almost their entire army to just rescue one soldier?can't they use something like spec ops or commandos?instead of bombing everywhere in Gaza?

From my knowledge the north koreans are going to test launch a long range missile, that is capable of reaching the U.S. and Japan. If we do not shoot it down, and they succeed. what should we do? with them knowing they can place a nuke on those same missiles. and if we do shoot them down what will they do? will they join china, and declare war on us, starting ww3, or just let it go?
