I think "cantcu" was being sarcastic by saying it was a success ...
I think the majority of Americans in the USA have too big of egos to accept aid/help from anyone exspessially Cuba
My biggest American hero, Hmm that's hard to say... can't think of any off the top of my head, sorry. I believe we can all be heros though.

You have no clue what you're talking about. I'd be curious to hear if everyday Cubans agree with this article but, alas, they have no ability to speak out because of the oppressive Cuban government. How's that for human rights, dumbass?
Alright, since you want to seem so smart, answer me this: If Cuba is such a bastion of freedom and greatness, and the United States so horrible, why are Cubans risking their LIVES to escape the country and come to America?
And Cantcu, where the Hell do you get your (mis)information? We didn't put Castro into power, you dolt. He's been critical of the US since before he was in power. Why would we put him into power, then? Logic, people. Stop believing everything that you read on the Internet and use your brains for once! It's not that difficult.
Huh...A Worldwide embargo. I could've sworn that most EVERY nation traded with Cuba, except the US. Check your facts before you talk. And, if the United States is the cause of their problems, why would these people COME to the country that caused them and their families such hardships? And why, when they get here, do they speak out about all of the atrocities committed by Castro?
Logic and perspective. GET SOME!

my thoughts exactly A GUY....how many American refugees are there now in Havana? By the way...are you as ugly as that avatar?
That's how much you know...the U.S. has done more for the poor in the world than ANY other country, and Iraqi people have more now than they did with saddam and no more torture rooms. But I guess you wouldn't know these things without a free press.
