You can send an email through operation dear Abby.
Field commanders can print out and distribute messages to the troops that do not have Internet access.

All the websites are a great Idea. Also if you live close to a military base contact thier human resources department and ask them what you can do to help. They might have a program them selves for letters and care packages or will be able to put you in touch with someone who does. Also lots of units have civilians, spouses, and parents who adopt the unit and send care packages to the entire unit once a month or so. I am a Corps wife and I want to thank you for wanting to support our troops.

anysoldier.com also has a great link to treatanysoldier.com that gives you prepackaged care packages to send over to the military service members.
If you only want to send letters anysoldier.com is great. I have lots of other Support our Troops info though and I'd love to share it with you so here it goes:
http://www.americasupportsyou.mil/americasupportsyou/index.aspx
On America Supports You you can send messages to the troops
And Finally the National American Legion has a booklet that you can see that helps to support troops and their families if you'd like that link is http://www.legion.org/support/index.php

Please don't feel obligated to use the above information, I just know how much it means to my husband to those kinds of letters. As a military spouse I also send some of my own.
You can do google searches and come up with all kinds of Support our troops sites.

purely searching at what i am going to work out the megastar represents various issues. On there you will discover a million. information 2.awareness 3.team spirit etc. it really is what the megastar contained in the persons usa stands for. i do not comprehend how versed you're contained in the finished gang aspect notwithstanding the by and massive black gangs comprise the persons usa (Blood) and the persons usa (Crips). If it got here from a reformatory you want to get it back to the intel officials on the reformatory. those letters sometime get messages to human beings on the exterior. It feels like a incredibly undemanding information record notwithstanding it would want to look like that to throw human beings off the real message. The pitch for is purely an illustration that persons usa makes use of. the 431 can be a series or section code that this team is out of. it really is incredibly undemanding even as it comes all the way down to it. in case you want extra or have extra questions upload on your question and ill examine back later.

Hop on the net look up web sites for troop support there are bunches of them out there. Join a group that supports the troops you can get names plus meet a bunch of people who have the same desire as you. I owned an on-line group for 3 years and had so many names of troops it was hard to keep up and there were over 100 people in the group that were supporting 4 and 5 at a time. I wish I was still doing it but my health got bad.

Bless your heart go for it!

Your letter won't get sent. Any mail that comes through marked "Any soldier" gets sent back to sender now. Go to the website: www.anysoldier.com there you can find a database of soldiers who are overseas, with addresses. They act as liasons between you (the kind and caring supporter) and the Soldier who's not getting mail. You write the letter to "Any Soldier" Mail it "Pvt Jim" and mark the envelope somewhere else as "Any Soldier" and then Pvt Jim passes it on to someone who hasn't gotten anything!

Great idea!! My former unit is in Iraq right now and would love to get anything from anyone. They lost a few men this week so it has been a tough few days for them. Here is an address:
3rd BN 8th Marines
HQ SVC Co Unit 73275
FPO AE 09509-3275

It is awesome when you receive something from someone when you are in a stressfull situation and so far from home. Thanks for asking this question!!!!!!!!

I wish someone did this to me when I was in Afganastan. Um, try looking here: http://www.kitchentablegang.org/packages/page3.html
or
www.anysoldier.com

you can e-mail them and they can give you some addresses. Most are kept private unless asked for for security reasons
