Muslim nations unified to take out Israel is a hot topic since the land is becoming more divided every day! Who will defend her? What interest does the US have with saving Isrrael? It may seem that a future president will need a very good reason to send out the troop to the Middle East if he want to keep his re-election hopes alive. Russia and China are both sleeping bears waiting to wake up and gain world dominance. what roles will they play. Good answers! Keep it up!

Option 1:
China invades Taiwan... US, Japan, Australia come to their aid. N Korea backs China by attacking US forces in S Korea... Russia does whatever it has to come out on top. If India gets sucked in than Pakistan will be at war with them. Mid-EAst might blow up with everyone distracted.

Option 2:
US pulls out of Iraq early. Civil War immediately spreads starting with Kurdish uprisings in Turkey, Iran, Syria, Jordan. Next is Shites w/ Iran vs Sunnis with outside help. Mid-East destroys itself with all Europe & US trying to stand between them. Only thing that unites muslims again is common enemy attack on Israel. Western world takes Israel's side, crusades part 2. Genocide everywhere.

The pre-lude was 9/11 attack on America.

Act I was the US invasion of Iraq.

Act II will be a middle east conflagaration around Israel,Palestine,Syria,Iran axis.

Act III - while US is busy defending Israel, North Korea will take the opportunity to invade the South and China will takeover Taiwan...leading to nuclear showdown similar to the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Act IV - will be the breakdown of the "system", loss in confidence of US economy, long gas lines at the pump, Constitutional rights abolished

Act V - the end...who knows how it will end, but Einstein said World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones....

You could say that it has already started. Others say that WW3 was The Cold War... but I see what you are getting at - a hot open and declared shooting war with super powers and intricate allies?

Here are a couple of possibles;

1. Middle East. The whole Iraq thing becomes a major civil war, then Iran and Israel get involved, and so do Syria and Jordan. Turkey gets attacked bringing in Nato (with the US already on the ground in Iraq) With the US heavily committed, China sees an opportunity and it kicks off in Korea, Japan gets embroiled and it is all one big confusing mess. Takes years to come to a settlement. Lots of fighting in Middle East and Korea. Terrorism used as a major weapon. Frontline is everywhere.

2. Russia becomes much more nationalistic and rearms. Face off againts China. Boom!
