Ok well like a month ago my uncle pulled a knife at me and he went crazy! (he's not usually like that) well anyway, I called the cops on him and like a week later he got arrested. his bail was really high so i was thinking that he will stay there for long but he was out like in one day.. my family was upset, my aunts and grandma (HIS mom, he's my mom's brother) well my mom was mad too but she understood i had to defend myself i can't possibly try to fight with a man especially with a knife on him. so my mom told me to just to drop the charges i said ok. but they let him go before i did. well they sent me a notice to show up to court, I dont really want to go. I haven't seen him ever since and I feel bad although he's mean, i dont want him to go to jail i love him :( what if i dont show up?? i mean, what if i go and he has to go to jail for a long time? and i cant lie and say he didnt do it because then I'LL be in trouble.. can i just not show up??? how will this affect me AND him??

Are you racially profiling around your neighborhood. Politicians are going to run head long into the Mexican Mafia's driveby's. They know that and will never inforce the "voluntary enforcement law. No officer must obey a law he feels is immoral. Here is where the police have the opportunity to show who they really are.

I have read LOTS of true crime books written by so-called 'Gangsters', and if they are to be believed, it seems the Police are often portrayed as being as criminal and corrupt as the crooks. The general public or Juries will more than not believe the police, so they do have this advantage. Who do most people believe?

She and a friend were caught going from drugstore to drugstore buying cold medicine in quantities, obviously knowing what they were going to do with it. It's her first offense, it was in Tupelo, MS, what is her likely sentence going to be?

My ex and I have a court order, but things changed, I proposed something else and we both signed a paper and both have a copy with the new time place for visitation. Will this hold up in court as far as him agreeing and me agreeing and if the judge doesn't like that agreement he can change it, but doesn't it look good that we agreed on something?

We have been doing this agreement since December 2006.

My ex comes maybe once to twice a month to visit
Doesn't work so he has plenty of time to come

Anyways, I was just wondering.

He is allowed to visit M-F for 3 hours each day but still only comes once a month. This last month he didnt come at all.

Thanks

A few months ago, my wife picked up a 'Photo Radar Ticket' (the offence where you are guilty, before being proved guilty in a court of law).
The ticket alleged she was doing 75 kph in a 50 zone on the 200 block of a certain street, yet the photograph showed the car in the 600 block of the same street.
Instead of paying the $175, should I have fought it, as the operator had her in two different places!
If he got that wrong, what else did he get wrong?
Do I now have any recourse?

That prisons are outfitted with weight rooms for convicts to bulk up is one thing, but even the basketball courts & such that keep the body athletic seems counterproductive to control for one thing- parolees & escapees have easier access to thier aggression than thier more contemplative capacity..

Yoga, maybe... but calisthenics & such?

Maybe reduce prison time for compliance....

Of course segregate the "buff" from the "no-longer-buff"...

Workable? No?

When you get your licensee and you're under 18, you have to wait one year before you can drive with anyone. During this year you can only drive with people 25 and older who have a license. What happens if you're caught during this year driving with someone who doesn't meet those qualifications?

What is the worst situation that you have been in and how did it affect you?
Mine was a riot in one of our housing units. I responded and as I entered the dorm, all of the lights in the housing unit went out and the doors closed behind us( thats protocol) we were fighting in the dark. Fun Fun Fun. I am now much more aware of my surrounding because the riot could have been prevented.

I recently had the police visit me and issue a citation for noise. I received a warning and was told there would be a fine if we got in trouble again. Apparently the police also contact the university i attend and told them about our noise issue. Is this legal? No fine no criminal activities, only a written citation. I live in Santa Clara CA if this helps. I'm concerned with the legality of releasing my information.

There has been many occasions they have literally gotten away with murder yet nothing is ever done. The last case I read about they barged into a home and shot a couple to death. None were convicted of murder even though they were IN THE WRONG HOUSE.

How is this trash still allowed to function in the US with no rules or governace?

I know about a party that will take place in a rural town in California, and I know for a fact that there will be alcohol served to minors, and also I know that there will be lots of drunk drivers in the road that night, this coming saturday 11/10. I feel the responsability to call the local sheriffs department and telling them my concerns. I would really hate for somebody to hurt innocent victims. And what concerns me the most is the fact that a majority of people attending this party are illegally in this country, and easily disregard our laws. So, please give me an advice as to how I should approach this matter? I am really concern for the safety of innocent drivers in the road that night because I know these people are not concern about the law since most of them are here illegally and have not much to loose. So, how should I approach the sheriffs department, and will this be the moral and ethical thing to do? Thanks.

He called the cops and had me arrested for embezzment. I never thougt it would stick but they took his word and I had just turned 18 and now I have a record. I hate it because everytime they do a back ground check it cops up. How can I get it removed? Now at 50 it still comes up. HELP!!!!!!
