I just found out that my sister took the title of my vehicle and signed my name to put the car into her name. This probably happened about a year ago without my consent. I let her drive the car for a while, but now she has the title to her name. Isn't this a felony, to forge someone else's signature and put the car under her name? Also while I was out of town, she even sent a written notice in my name giving her permission to enter my house. Being a clear infraction of the law, what can I do, and what are the penalties she must endure if I press charges? Is this jail time or a slap on the wrist? Any advice would be appreciated.

Can I plead guilty without a lawyer.
I got a ticket for speeding and the cop claims I was going 80, but I was really going 70 or so which by the way makes a $100 difference in payment. The speed limit was 55 by the way, I want to plead not guilty but I don't want to spend anymore
money than I have to. I just don't want to plead guilty for driving at 80 when I really wasn't.. The state is NJ

These violent gangs have all but ruined Los Angeles and god knows how many other cities. When will we, as a nation, finally stop having pity on people who CHOOSE to affiliate themselves with these groups and hold them responsible for being involved in a terrorist organization? We would not show sympathy for someone involved with Al-Qaida, so why do we tolerate the same behavior from these people that are involved in organizations that destroy American lifes every day?

2 months ago we were detained and fingerprinted for public intoxication. We were told that it was so minor that it probably would not get filed but none the less we had to go to court to make sure. I do intend on fighting the charge if it was filed. I'm asking because im on the brink of being employed by an elementry school that requires fingerprinting and im panicking, can this end my hopes of being hired??? should i mention it? will it even show?

Detective Callahan has taken out two warrants for arrest on David Scott. One is for Felony Larceny and the other is for Recieving Stolen Property. Callahan has tried to serve the warrants on Scott at the suspect's house. The suspect has moved out. One of Callahan's informants tells him that Scott has left town for parts unknown. Several weeks later Callahan gets a phone call from his informant. The informant tells him that Scott has just got back in town and is at a girlfriend's house. Callahan goes to the girlfriend's house (with the warrants) and finds Scott's car parked in her backyard. The hood of the car is warm. Callahan then knocks on the front door and a female answers the door. She tells Callahan that Scott is not in her home and she has not seen him in three weeks. Callahan thinks the female is full of it and wants to search the house. The female tells Callahan that she does not want him to come in the house. Can Callahan search the house at this point anyway?

I hear that spider silk is 3 times stronger than Kevlar. Would it be possible for me to walk around finding spider webs to harvest silk from until I have enough to make a vest? Would it work as is or would I have to find a way to weave it? I was thinking just get a whole lot of it, put it between two pieces of fabric like in quilts and just use that. It is too sticky to weave though. Anyone know anytihng about this?

I am not a cop but I figure cops know about this so.... just clarifying that.

I want to get some body armor for every day use, just to wear around town so if someone goes postal or someone tries to mug me I am covered. First, am I allowed to wear body armor around town in Texas, I don't know of any laws against it but want to make sure.

I hear that level 2 armor provides OK protection but is not too bulky. I guess size matters so I took some measurements. My waist is 36 inches, at my naval is 35 inches and my chest is 39". I would like a little big of wiggle room so if I pig out or work out I can still fit in but I want it not to wiggle when I move before then. I assume they are adjustable to some extent.

What is the best type of armor for me and how much should I expect to pay? Does armor expire? Are there any things I can't do in it? Does sweat cause it to go bad, how about water, heat? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Everytime I watch a DVD a notice comes on saying it's ellegal to copy dvd etc, etc, and then it goes on to say the FBI will investigate? You're kidding right? You mean my hard earned taxes are going towards the FBI investigating DVD copyright theft that should be left to the multi-billion dollar entertainment industry to take care of, NOT the elite police force of the United States!! I can only imagine how much that's costing the taxpayers of this country and the amount of manhours wasted!!
No wonder so many violent crimes in this country are un-soved, the mo fo's are chasing down movie pirates!! Yikes!!

Just wondering, as you see stories of people being arrested for ridiculous things only for the case to ultimately be thrown out of court in the papers all the time.

I know a police officer has to have probable cause to pull you over. Does probably cause include saying "You don't have a front license plate?" Well, I was driving past you going about 50 when it was dark. Then, when you point out to the cop that there IS a front license plate, he says..."Well, you backlights aren't working." And you say, "Well, yes they are, my dashboard warning lights says they are out, but the lights work fine." Once this is proved to the officer, he says, "Well, you were driving erratically." Then proceeds to arrest you for DUI. But, on the police report, he puts down, "Pull so-and-so over for no front license plate, I confirmed there was a front license plate, but then noticed while standing at the back of her car (which, may I add, was turned completely off!!!) that her rear lights weren't working. He never wrote anything about me driving erratically!!! Will this hold in court as probably cause???
