He said that I was speeding that was the only offense...although I was in a group of cars and he never told me how fast I was going so I don't even know if he knew for sure. Im just curious because this is my first ticket....people don't need to attack me!

What did you get a ticket for? Was it for speeding or did he write you for careless or reckless driving?

Or for some other charge altogether.

How about some more info?

I assume that the ticket was for speeding and he may have omitted writing the speed on your copy but may have realized his mistake and wrote it later on his copy. Or maybe it didn't ink through to your copy. Doesn't mean that he doesn't know. If you have doubts ask for a traffic court hearing

Go to court and find out. The judge may toss it out.

you cant but in some states the judge will dismiss it dont pay it fight it go to court and it should be dismissed

he will say he omitted it and don`t worry he will clear it all up in court.. they are the cops.. what judge will go against them? none..he doesn`t really have to prove anything..

That may invalidate the ticket.
Take it to court.
