Can my 17 year old drive a 16 and 13 year old to school?

If almost all laws outside of speeding, parking violations, littering were punishable by death wouldn't that cut down on crime like A LOT???

If you're say an 18 yr old drunk driver who crashes and gets caught, then we f(_)cking kill you don't you think this would really help out on getting rid of the garbage ppl?

i just wanna know if you agree with me, and if you don't you must commit some sort of crimes, misdemeanors, felonies, etc.

I just saw one of my neighbors get arrested and I called the Sheriff's Dept. to see what was going on and she rudely told me that she couldn't tell me what was going on. I asked when it would be released and she didn't give a definite answer. I alway thought that information was public.

Once they pulled us over they asked for all of our IDs. All of us being underage gave them our real IDs. They asked the girl who was in the front seat to step out. She did and left her purse on the floor of the front seat. They asked my other buddy who they had seen buy the alcohol to step out of the car. He did. They asked if we had fake ID's. The guy who bought denied at first but after the officer started searching the car he said where it was hidden in the back seat. Me and my one friend are still sitting in the car until they ask us to get out one by one. They ask if we have anything on us and we reply negatively. So were all out of the car and one police officer searches the whole car and finds mine and the girls fake ID's in her purse which was zipped up on the floor. Was he allowed to do this? Is it against the 4th amendment? Now the 3 of our liscenses iare being suspended (the 4th guy didnt have a fake) and i want to fight it because i believe the search was unlawful? Anyidea?

i sold a 12oz of beer to an underaged guy whom i mistook as a customer i'd had earlier so i didn't ask for id. Apparently the police caught the guy, and me in turn, for not asking for an id. therefore i receive a citation to go court. i live in california and i'm wondering what are the procedures and cost of the fine that i'll face. Ironically, a random checkup was made half a year ago and i happen to be the guy to sell beer to a guy working undercover for the police and did ask for id, because i always do, and received a letter explaining that i successfully complied to the law and congratulated our bussiness for passing the checkup made. what can i do?

I was totally wasted when I exited this club. The club was in Hollywood, and had alot of drug activity going on. Apparently I ended up leaving with some pot.That some other drunk guy gave me. We were just having one of those drunk conversations. Like an idiot "I know", but i swear I was not aware. When I came out I was pulled over, and searched. Apparently the officer said that I threw the pot I had. I did not denie it, I was drunk. I mean drunk. Could I get away with it, if the officer did not take me to jail for public intoxication?

pd showed up 30 min after it happened and pd banged on my locked bedrm door for 40 min then left so i never spoke nor talked to them. can they get a warrant if only the roomate was present and allegedy said I did it. other roomates woke up coughing and police saw that and pd may also have wrote in report that they felt/detected the lingering of it in the air..it created a fog and caused minimal coughing for about 2 hrs total...how long will this complaint stay active with pd before they give it up?

im 15, and my dad put my laptop away in his drawer and locked it up. so, i went and unlocked it using his key. now, he says that i don't return MY laptop back into his drawer, he'll call the police. can they really do anything about it? cause, i have my name on it, and all my stuff inside the laptop are my files, clearly. so ya, can they?

I wen't to an 8 hour lamaze class and had to park on the street. We did not see the sign that said two hour parking. When we got back to the car after the class, we had two tickets in a row. We live in California, and I have never had this happen to me before, they were also both from the same officer.

Alright. Last night my dad got rear ended by some idiot...in our own driveway none the less. When the police came (it was a woman) she did pretty much nothing to help the situation. Anyone could obviously tell this guy was either drunk or high or something and she didnt even give him a breathalizer! There was empty beer cans on the floor (open container policy--ticket right??). There were no skid marks, meaning he didnt even apply his brakes?? My dad's car is very banged up and he got whiplash. The car is an older car and it would take a lot to bang it up that bad. The guy claims he was going 30 mph and was going to pass but this road is a no passing zone and he also said my dad didnt turn on his signal light which he always does. He was deff. going more than 30 mph. One more problem..there were no witnesses...just the two of them. And to end this story, the police officer didnt even issue a ticket...something to me seems seriously messed up. Can anyone help me?

I was given a ticket going 80 in a 65. I was one of only two cars on the road, it was late at night and yes, I was sober. This would be my second ticket ever -- my record is clean, and I'd like to keep it that way....does anyone know a way to reduce or fix the ticket? (I've already done traffic school, so I'm not eligible).

If I can get it reduced with a lawyer, does anyone know one? It's a civil speeding ticket, please help!

The ads show drivers in cars filled with liquids symbolising beer, ligour, and wine. When an officer pulls the vehicle over and opens the car door the liquid pours out. To me its almost like a comedy especially if a child viewed it not knowing the tragedy of drunk driving. Having lost a friend to a drunk driver over 30 years ago its not funny and the ad offends me!!! This is a serious issue and the ad should take that tact.

I had a regular 4 year permit before, but it expired. My wife & I had a argument 2 years ago where she said a very ugly hateful thing to me. Even though I know I shouldn't, I grabbed her by the shoulders & told her to cool it. She then called 911. When the police came, she told them every thing had calmed down & the police left but came back later in the week & arrested me for spousal battery. (1st time I've ever been in trouble) The prosecutor offered me a diversion program where I attended 26 weeks of anger control classes, & the judge dismissed the charges. This was a class D misdemeanor. Are there any law enforcement people out there that can tell me if this will cause me a problem with receiving my new gun permit.

When did cops loose their integrity and go from being protectors of the public to tax collectors for the fatcats?
And how can traffic cops feel any sense of pride in what they do -surely that's not why they joined the police force.
Or does the power change them and turn them into that?
Do cops try to argue the 'quota's' for small speeding tickets?
Do officers realize (not having ever received a ticket before) how even small no points tickets affect insurance rates?

And yes i am bitter because I commute more than an hour each way to work and get a ticket at least once a month (95 in an 80 zone -Ontario Canada) Each cop that tickets me has a different idea of how fast is too fast. I've seen people blow by me going 120, but then I get a ticket for going 96.

im 16 now but when i grow up i want to be a state police officer in maryland. ill go to college and study police science or criminal justice. but the problem is that i wear glasses. i heard that you have to have 20/20 vision uncorrected to be a state police officer, is that true? im going to get lasik later in my life tho. how old do you have to be to get lasik anyway?

Okay so theres this girl in jail.. when she got arrested for theft by check it said she had a 2500 bond.. but i recently checked back on it and now it says 0.00 for bond there wasnt any fine to begin with but what i was wondering why it is now 0.00 she is still in jail and has other fines i also want to know how long will she be in jail... it says dunn was her judge on the theft by check and he is a very strict judge who doesnt let hardly anyone get by.. i need some legal help so if anyone can help please do heres the link to her record...

IF some female's boy friend records their sex related & mutual private conversations through HIS mobile phone WITHOUT her consent or permission ;
after their break up he becomes hostile ; makes few other people to listen those recorded talks & tries to lower her moral and character.
Besides filing a case of defamation againt him ; can she also file complaint for violating Information Technology Act India regarding:
section 67 –transmission of information obscene in electronic form ;
section 72 – breach of privacy ,against that hostile
ex-boy friend ???
