I wen't to an 8 hour lamaze class and had to park on the street. We did not see the sign that said two hour parking. When we got back to the car after the class, we had two tickets in a row. We live in California, and I have never had this happen to me before, they were also both from the same officer.

Yes, after a given amount of time, such as the two hour marker on the sign, another ticket could be given. You got lucky your car was not towed after the four hour mark.

Consider yourself lucky...you could have gotten much worse than a ticket...such as your car being towed.
Pay the tickets and forget about it. You got off easy. Next time, be more alert and pay attention to street signs. If necessary, park in a garage.

yes they can give you a ticket every two hrs. Next time, check for parking time limits; & if you park in a 2 hr slot, go move the car to another spot. I know it is frustrating to do that, but it might save you a few tickets.

yes they can come back every two hours and ticket you. your lucky you only got two not to mention they could have booted you car or worse towed it but the good news is that usually their is a form you can fill out satining why you feel you don't deserve the ticket you would have to ask if their is such a thing where you live. they mite drop it down to one but i don't think they drop both but good luck with that ........and congrats on the new addition

Every two hours yes! In my city we would have towed your car along with the citation. I would say you were lucky with just the two tickets.

Yes, they can ticket you for each hour over after you have gone over the two hour liimit. They mark your tires....haven't you seen this? The white mark? They use chalk and mark your tire, then write the time and your license number. Then come back in an hour and check.

definite, this is valid in case you have not got the right handicapped parking enable. If the automobile parking zone replaced into empty,why did you park in a handicapped spot? Handicapped spots do no longer grow to be prevalent parking spots after the procuring mall closes.

They can give you more than one ticket. They could also put what they call a boot on your car. Good luck moving it if you get one of those.
