If almost all laws outside of speeding, parking violations, littering were punishable by death wouldn't that cut down on crime like A LOT???

If you're say an 18 yr old drunk driver who crashes and gets caught, then we f(_)cking kill you don't you think this would really help out on getting rid of the garbage ppl?

i just wanna know if you agree with me, and if you don't you must commit some sort of crimes, misdemeanors, felonies, etc.

People break laws all the time, all hours of the day, from little old ladies, to grandfathers, to teachers to preachers.

Following your train of thought, sure it would cut down on immediate crime, but the bad side of this is that you would be putting to death hundreds of thousands of people.

Lets look at some of the crimes: Not having insurance for your vehicle...Failure to Pay Court Fines/Child Support, Not having your operators license in your possession, Kids toilet papering a house, Having loud music playing from your car, Being drunk in public, drinking when you are under 21, possessing marijuana, carrying a pocket knife concealed (carry concealed deadly weapon), writing bad checks, jaywalking, panhandling...the list can go on and on. My point is that you would be killing quite a large group of people, more than likely including yourself. Nobody ever follows every single rule, every single day. We may not murder people or rape or commit fraud, but what about not using turn signals, using anothers ATM card (With their permission of course), wear our seatbelt all the time, drive the speedlimit...again there are quite a few minor infractions that could be added to this list.

I dont commit felonies or misdemeanors, I in fact enforce them. Just because I dont agree with you does not make one a criminal. What you are referring to is called a utopia. The communist government of Russia tried this under Stalin and the German government tried it under Hitler. (Germans was socialism). They had strict can and can not do laws and if you violated them, you were either killed or sent off to a labor camp.

I do agree that penalties should be harsher for some crimes and our court system needs some reworking. Killing the people wont help that situation at all.

so a dude vandalizes a wall and you kill him.
you could have a dude who vandalizes a wall so you fine him, and make him clean up vandalism all over the city.
i like the second choice to me

as for the drunk driving thing i dont think you kill the guy he made a mistake and hes lucky not to have killed anyone so you put him in jail( and i do mean for a long time not a Paris hilton three week-er) and then make him go to rehab in addition to paying a fine

I disagree 100% with you and I do not break the law.

I disagree with you. The death penalty should be reserved only for people who commit murder.
