Simple solution to the problem...

Don't hang out with dopers, whether they use, sell, or produce.

The problem will go away all on its own...

Yes you can get arrested. Convicted is another story. You will probably beat the charges, but it's going to cost you thhousands in legal fees. You can get arrested for walking down the street minding your own business, however unlikely that is to happen. You increase your chances of that happening if you are sitting in a dope house. My advice: have your friend visit you and tell them to leave their doobage at home.

I live in Louisiana and according to the laws here yes and no. If your friend tells the police they are her plants and you didn't know anything about them they shouldn't take you to jail. Then again every cop is different. My advice to you is to have her come visit you because if you run into a not-so-nice cop they can take you to jail as well even if she owns up to the plants.

If the cop is doing an investigation on her and bust her with you in her apt, chances are you would get arrested, but like people say, tell it to the judge.

it extremely is conceivable which you're able to be charged with cultivation of marijuana. The police could want an seek warrant and in case you occurred to be there it extremely is extra suitable than probably they could question you and aid you bypass residing house until eventually they had reason to have confidence you had an lively section in the cultivation. i don't be responsive to the drug regulations in NYC, in California it can be a misdemeanor to advance pot for inner maximum use, reason to distribute pot could carry a stiffer sentence of upto 5 years (i think of) perfect to stay away as much as conceivable because of the fact now which you be responsive to it extremely is there you're helping and abbeting.

The war on drugs is as inneffective as trying to build a skyscaper on an icefloat.

Hopefully my generation will realize you can't wage war on a tangable object, and multi billions of dollars wasted each year would be better put to use back in our pockets, or paying off national debt.

Legalize drugs, end drug wars, bad quality product, innocent victims of drive by shootings, and tax the living sh1t out of them to fund rehab centers, build schools, etc.

Ok , first, you could, so why even hang out there. Second it would depend on what info the cops of DA had for charging your friend or you. Just don't go there, and I would find a better friend.

Yeah, they will arrest you, but if you have a really good story for the DA, the charged might get dropped.

Unfortunately, yes. That's another reason to register and vote. A person caught with just one joint can be put in prison for longer than a person convicted of murder. That's one example of how crazy our drug laws are today. Also, if her parents own the building, they can loose the building.
