my uncle was killed by this man in Mexico, he was killed in front of his sons and daughters and now this man has been seen here in the states by other family memebers. What can be done?

A reply from the Disciplinary Officer at Bukit Aman upon a public complaint against the police in lacking initiative
towards crime solving. The respondent approached this officer in relation to appeal for cooperation from police officers slacking in duty for not doing enough to offer protection and justice to a victim of assault and death threat.

*The victim had been hospitalized on the 11th of June as a result of an assault and was again assaulted yesterday, the 28th of July. The father of the victim is not happy with the police service and had lodged a complaint against the Investigating Officers who were handling the case.

**TheBear was present as witness at the above mentioned event on the 13th floor of Bukit Aman Police Headquarters, Office of Disciplinary Unit (Tatatertib) today.

If you have ever been in an accident from simple to major- have you noticed that on the little card the police dept. gives you to fill out asks for your DL#, DOB, Address and such? If someone wanted to they could obtain your social online within minutes of receiving that info...am I wrong or not in wanting to pursue a lawsuit against the City of (fill in blank) for infringing on my rights to keep my information private?

In a world of identity theft, that is sure a huge door opened for one to obtain anything about that person...would love posts from all but especially law enforcement/professionals in this field...

I worked in credit lending and know the resources in finding this information and it is scary to know that law enforcement makes you provide this information and if you refuse they will input it themselves from your dl...

I had a friend whos daughter stayed at my house for 1½ month on vacation. This "child" is a few months short of her 18th birthday. My youngest daughter is 14, a few months short of her 15th birthday. Well, come to find out the oldest was "doing things" to my daughter that I do not care to mention but you can imagine. When I asked a social worker how to go about this situation and what is the procedure, she said: "That is child-on-child assault and we are not interested in that, we only investigate adult-on child molestation, if you report it then DSS will find you (ME??!!?) in neglect and we can sue you for custody of the child." Mind you, I was at WORK while this was happening!!! How am I neglectful for leaving a 14 year old and an 18 year old alone in a house because I have to work??? Then I mentioned that maybe I should go to the police, she said that the police will only report it back to DSS and it will be the same procedure. Anyone can help with this?? Thank you!!!

just got a speeding ticket for doing 97mph in a 70mph speed limit zone. i would like to go with the deffered disposition option but every city seems to have different rules and limitations concerning this option.

So I live in Michigan and I rented a room from a guy. We had quite a few problems arise and I did not pay 2 months of rent to him after which he threatened me with physical harm and then to call the police and throw out my things on the street. My dad had to come get me and my stuff at 2am in the morning and we moved out. He did not file anything in courts to get me evicted, just threatened me. What do I do now, is what he did legal? If it had a sentence for each charge would be even better.

What I would like to know is what can a person be charged with, for instance if trying to kill someone what can he be charged with i/e attempted murder, attempted manslaughter (?), attempted homicide (?), assault with intent to kill etc.

Also, what the sentence would be would be great.

I have lost my bike Hero honda splender when I parked infront of a super market in Hyderabd. The bike was in locked when I went in to the shop. I gave a complaint in the near by police station. They told me to wait for 2 days so that they can keep under observation. Then they can book FIR. The reason is once FIR is booked it is not easy to get back the vehicle. We have to go to the court several times even if it is located. Is that correct. I am I doing right?
Can any body suggest what is the best action? Is there any possibility to get back such lost vehicles? whether any influence is required in the police station. The insurance for the vehicle also expired.

Is it legal to have a stun gun in michigan? I see them for sale on some sites but it says they will not ship to michigan. I know you can have a gun obviously, so shouldn't you be able to have a stun gun too?
