If it had a sentence for each charge would be even better.

What I would like to know is what can a person be charged with, for instance if trying to kill someone what can he be charged with i/e attempted murder, attempted manslaughter (?), attempted homicide (?), assault with intent to kill etc.

Also, what the sentence would be would be great.

Thanks,

There is NO single complete list of crimes in ANY jurisdiction. The closest you could get is the actual code of law for that area. Even then, there are at least 3 separate sources. Federal law applies across the entire US. VA state law applies to all of VA. Each county/city may also have its own laws.
