Got 2 parking citations at the University I go to.
Neither of them have the correct licence plate number on them.
Should I pay em? or consider it their f*ck up?

wrong license plate # = not being able to trace it to my car, when that's the ONLY identifier on the ticket. my name's no where on it.

At a university, most parking citations are "administrative" in nature, that way the university gets the money, and not the courts. Because they are administrative citations (equal to paying a fine at the university library for overdue books, etc) they do not go on your "record". Few employers would (could) check to see how many citations you received on campus.

If the wrong license plate number is on your citation, it is their **** up, so don't pay anything. Check your student account to see if any fines from citations have posted that you will owe at end of semester. If they are not there, say in a month, then you got away with it.

Pay them, or it will be your f*ck up because you'll get even more fines and it'll screw your record over on a background check for a job, because they check your driving history and you'll look stupid for not paying them...

Do they have your name and address on them? The school can withhold your transcript if you don't pay your parking fines.

So you want the other persons to pay for your violations?

It depends. Are you a good person who deserves to have good things happen to you, or are you a criminal who deserves to be abused by others?
