run, excersize, do lot of push ups and pullups. get a tennis ball and squeez it. I would take up martial arts. preferably Tae Kwon Do. ( because the toughest law enforcement in country LAPD train in Tae Kwon Do. )
mentaly learn a second language like spanish.
don't do anything stupid. like trying drugs. getting arrested, having bad credit, they will put you through lie detecor test and ask you everything. also be a good person. I know a guy who didn't make it cuz his ex gf said something bad about him.
If you go to the law enforcement website like CHP they will tell you exercises to do.

Well elaborate further, a local cop?...a state trooper/highway patrol?.....federal agent?.....intelligence analyst?

The higher up you go on that scale, the more smart you need to be. So likely at least a 4 year degree.

As for physical exercises, just run everyday, and eat healthy. Do a few pushups, but above all don't hurt yourself.

First, start with a tour in the Military Police. This will get you in shape and teach you discipline, chain of command etc. While you are there go to college. Take courses in criminal justice and psychology. Get a degree. If you want a decent pension after 30 years service, get your masters degree. During your career, continue to eat healthy and exercise often.

Be physically in tip top shape. The police academy is just like boot camp in the military. They will try to beak you down physically first with PT and running.

I would talk with and see about riding with a policeman/woman in your area. Or maybe sit in at a 911 call center for starters. i was standing next to a cop that shot himself in the head with a 9mm.
Must be way more stressful than we all realize.
Study criminal law.
Running.....fast....target practice. And pray!
