wich police force do you get to see more action?

-swat team, k-9 unit, vice? the one where you get to ride a dirtbike? this is kinda a imature question but just wondering. also have any one here been a motorcycle cop? is that as fun and badas* as it seems?

First: SWAT, K9 or Vice will depend on the crime rate of the city. Generally the K9 unit will see more work as they are needed for tracking, arrest and search. Usually K9 units work a regular shift as do other patrol officers.

Vice may be next (or more than K9 in bigger cities), as they have a diverse work load, drugs, prostitution, undercover, etc.

SWAT will usually be last, as they are a last resort unit in most cases. Bigger cities will see once a day use from a SWAT team.

Motorcycle cops are not as bad *** or cool as the TV/Movie ones are. Not because they are wimps, but because you get no A/C during the summer, don't ride your cycle during the winter in northern states, have to ride in the rain sometimes (usually you drive a car then), you are at danger always from other drivers not seeing you. Most motorcycle cops work traffic only including accidents. Not as glamorous as the videos make them.

Our department uses K-9 most. Our dogs are drug and bite dogs though. Other depts. may be different.
Most SWAT guys are regular road patrol that have qualified for the team.
VICE usually is worked in waves. What I mean is a few times a year it is specificicly targeted to locate prostitution areas. But only once in a while so they work similar areas

Yeah, Being a cop is really exciting. You get to strip search hundreds of idiots and check out their tatoos and ******* every time you check one in. A great life! Sounds fun and badas to me to! NOT
