i visited my local CAB office recently for advice on paying 600.00 council tax bill which is now in the hands of the bailiffs and 2 parking tickets to which the baliffs want 800.00 i have recently moved in with my new partner and am scared to death that if they find me living here they will seize his goods. CAB said they could not help me with these kinds of debt and im afraid to call bailiffs in case they want my new address can i tell them to carry on sending my mail to my house which i currently rent out or can i give my works address as a contact address for any mail they want to send me.Do you think i should just call them to make a payment arrangement because i do want to pay off this debt to stop all of the sleepness nights im having. The only possesions i have is my car and my house i dont have any household goods as it all belongs to my new fella could they take his stuff cos im sure he wont have receipts for everything.

Heading to work, late:

Speed limit is 55 then goes to 45. Cop pulled me over in the 45 mph area and said he clocked me at 67, but ticketed me for 63 (a reduction in price, not points). He ticketed me for 15-20 miles over (3-4 points).

Yes I know, I shouldn't have been speeding in the first place.

I have a clean record and would like to reduce to points if anything.

Any advice?

Great way to start a Monday. Yeah, shouldn't have been speeding.

Cop pulled me over at 60mph as soon as the road speed went from 55 to 45mph. So I got a ticket for 15 over..... This is my first time.

Anyway, does anyone know how much my insurance will go up? also, should I notify my insurance agency?

"what harm is pot?" Q1:: what harm would pot/marijuana really cause if it were legalized? Q2:: would these be problems more easily dealt with than the current problems we have with marijuana?

I saw the FBI warning at the beginning of movies and even called them. Whoa, it's obvious the movie people put that there to try and scare some people from stealing money away from them because the FBI couldn't care less. What's the best way to anonymously report someone that pirates movies? The FBI is useless.

Hope someone can help me.

We purchsed tickets for a Lionel Richie concert for 24th March on a website called Ticket Tout. We received a letter this weekend stating that Ticket Tout had gone into Adminstration and we would no longer recieve our tickets (which we paid near on £200 for three for) and we'd also not be getting our money back, we could try but it was highly unlikely we would!...the letter had no header so it didnt look like it came from a company but stated court case numbers etc, so we assumed it was genuine...We are are so annoyed, we muct be able to do something???

has anyone else has this with this company this weekend?? Also I just went onto their websire and it doesnt say anything and they seem to still be selling tickets???

I hear that it's 20 miles over the speed limit... is that true?

Because I have also heard that you have to go double the speed limit to be hit with a reckless driving citation. Otherwise, you will only get a speeding ticket.

Or do the rules vary from state-to-state? Or is it really up to the officer giving the ticket?

Thanks for your help...

My 2 friends and I got charged with attempted burglary about 1 month ago. We talked to our lawyers, and said that we most likely are going to get probation because it's our first offense. We have a court date in about 2 weeks. We are planning on getting an apartment together. If we get an apartment and move in together before the case is closed, could we still live together because I read that two people on probation cannot be around each other. If not, what would happen?

By the way, we were going to break into my former friend's house who I had loan 4000 dollars and had never paid me back. He just decided not to pay me and moved. I couldn't take him to court because I never got him to sign a promissory note. I had no proof. I wasn't just going to let it slide.

So one of my worst fears happened over the weekend... I got caught shoplifting. It was nothing big, not a big deal at all... But I was forced to wear uncomfortable handcuffs while I waited four hours for my mom to come and pick me up.

I can't believe that in today's society we still resort to such barbaric methods. Handcuffs hurt, leave marks, and make you very uncomfortable. I think it's time that police need to realize that diplomacy is more effective than painful physical restraints.

I am 27 and just moved to Florida from the crazy gun-controlling state of NJ. Since FL is a shall-issue state, I plan on getting a CWP. I have some shooting experience from the military but I prefer to carry an handgun style air pistol.

This is my preference, please do not question me on that.

Anyway, I purchased one recently down here in FL easy as cake. I know back in NJ, they are illegal.

I know that FL has a law that does not allow open-carry. I want to know if an air pistol that looks like a handgun requires a CWP to carry concealed and or am I allowed to carry it open carry either way? Not sure what the law in FL is defining the use of these guns. I will be using a regular handgun style holster.

the other day i went to the DMV and looked at the most wanted posters and right in the middle was a picture of Bin-Laudin. i am curious as to why they would have a wanted poster of him on american soil, some how i dont think he would be here, but you never know i guess. any input?

also do you know of a case where the FBI arrested some one as a trator or spy and it was obviously they were not. i need the case to be from the 30s-70s.

I know that a broken windshield results in a ticket. But how shattered does it have to be? My truck just has a single crack going straight across. It's higher up on the left side (the driver side) more than half way up, and shoots straight across, and then comes down all the way to the bottom right where the passenger would sit. When do you know it is illegal? Does this very per state? I'm in Michigan. And it doesn't affect my driving whatsoever. Thanks.

This is the story:

I went to a club for the first time in 3 months to meet someone. The cover was $6 and since I only $5 on me, the lady at the door told me to go to the bar and use my bank/debit Visa card to get the $6 there. I had $8 and change in my bank (had not received my paycheck yet) . The bartender wanted to keep the card , but I asked for it back and he ran the reciept and had me sign. Since it was dark and I was thinking I was signing for $6 dollars I did not ask anything and signed.

Guess what? There was $11 charged to my card and now my bank account is overdrawn $2.50 and I will have a $32 bank fee now!

Just in case , he was clever and printed up a reciept showing $11 dollar charge and I signed for it, can I still dispute this?!!

I am mainly a rifle person, but I would enjoy having a pistol, mainly for target practice - so low priced ammo is a plus. I am thinking in the range of $300-$500, for a good used one. Perferably an urban style, not western. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

I'm writing a movie script. If a car that was fleeing a crime scene and ht car was rigged w/ devices such as smoke screens, oil slicks, or even spot lights to prevent being followed or pulled over, 1) what crimes are being violated? 2) how would law enforcment get around this? 3) has this ever happen to you like "The James Bond gang" that was once on the FBI's wanted list Thanks!

Do they really have gag orders?

http://www.americanfreepress.net/html/bombs_inside_wtc.html

And yes, there are those of you who will say that this source isn't credible, but then again, what source really is? CNN? FoxNews? All the credible sources you guys would like to see are owned by some of the richest companies in the world like GE. People such as David Rockefeller (who is profiting from the wars) etc. own the media.

At least keep an open mind for the independent media
