Hope someone can help me.

We purchsed tickets for a Lionel Richie concert for 24th March on a website called Ticket Tout. We received a letter this weekend stating that Ticket Tout had gone into Adminstration and we would no longer recieve our tickets (which we paid near on £200 for three for) and we'd also not be getting our money back, we could try but it was highly unlikely we would!...the letter had no header so it didnt look like it came from a company but stated court case numbers etc, so we assumed it was genuine...We are are so annoyed, we muct be able to do something???

has anyone else has this with this company this weekend?? Also I just went onto their websire and it doesnt say anything and they seem to still be selling tickets???

Take a look at this link. Don't get too hopeful. If you really want to see the show it looks like you are going to have to put in a lot of legwork.

Hope it works out for you.

Its all too true Im afraid.

Im in the same boat - bought tickets last Nov for Faithless and have now lost them....if you paid by credit card you can get the money back, give your cc co a call -theyve been inundated apparently so will understand. Ive been told to call back after the date of the concert as they cant do anything till then.

I feel sorry for us both! I did go onto ebay and bought new ones on there as my tickets were for a birthday surprise and id already booked a hotel in anticipation. In fact I paid slightly less than I paid Ticket Tout, so it might be worth a try if you still really want to go.

If you purchased your tickets using your credit card you should be able to get your money back from your credit card company. I only heard about the Ticket Tout 'crash' on the BBC Radio 4 news last night. Thousands of people have lost money. The advice the BBC gave was to get in touch with your credit card co. if you purchased tickets by this method, even over the Internet.

if you paid with a credit card you can obtain a refund from the card company. Contact the website via their site and tell them about this letter you have received and point out that as the site is still selling tickets you dont see how they could have gone into administration

:-) This shaggy dog tale is advantageous and extremely nostalgic. We used to crack a similar shaggy dog tale in college. purely attorneys, from yur version, have been substituted with Electronics & Communications Engineers and the Gearheads, from yur version, with Mechanical Engineers. We used to love this shaggy dog tale plenty then! Readin yur shaggy dog tale I comprehend, I nonetheless do.
