I am currently on probation for a first DWI. I am off in August, but I have been extended due to a minor previous violation, failure to contact after I moved. So a 2 year prob. has turned into three. Today I failed a UA, so I am gonna have to go before the judge. Realistically, what is likely going to happen to me? If I take it upon myself to check into a rehab before I go before the judge, is that going to improve my situation any? What is likely to happen then?

I have a limited learners permit which states that I can only drive with supervision from 5AM to 9PM. When I got it my dad came with me to the DMV and only my dad. Now it never said this but it probably meant with a parent or guardian when it said supervision. My dad signed a certificate a driving certificate stating that he is my parent and guardian. So can legally drive with him at those times but here comes my questions.

Would it be legal to drive from 5AM to 9PM with my mom?
She's also my parent and guardian but she never signed a certificate stating that.

Over the weekend I was coming back from a job interview and was pulled for speeding. When he asked for my license I opened my wallet and saw that it wasn't in it's place so I said it looked like I didn't have it on me (One of the supervisors at the place of business had made a copy of my license because I just got hired and I thought he didn't give it back to me since we were busy with some things)

The officer gave me a warning for speeding but a $40 ticket for not presenting my license. After that I drove back to the place of business but when I talked to him, he said he had given it back to me. Turns out it was in another flap in my wallet. Minor mistake, but $40!

On the back it says Plead Guilty with Explanation. Do you think it would be worth it to go to the waiver hearing under these circumstances. I know it's $40, but it's $40.

I've noticed a lot of taxis in my neighborhood that are white Crown Vitorias that have a blue stripe on the side. When I see them, I often confuse them for police cars. Isn't it illegal to drive a car that looks like a police car?

PCSo (Police Community Support Officer) are they a waste of space! I think so! they are paid to walk the streets in a uniform similar to regular police officers they have the same powers of arrest as everyone else in the whole country! They are starting to replace regular police officers out and about as they are cheaper, so you get more for the same price! What we need is REAL Police officers out and about and "Paper pushers" to chase up the statements and processing the paperwork etc, so that officers with the POWER OF ARREST are on the streets where they are needed!

What do you think?

I am currently a Special Constable in the UK and have been for 5yrs to which have aquired rank, indepentant officer status, drives police vehicles to incidents, attends jobs, have over fifty arrests and all of the paperwork to go with it. WHY do we have to go through the same process like new applicants? I personally think 'experience' over takes paper sith and four roles plays. In any other employment, when applying for a job asks do you have previous experience. I think the Centrex system which is currently used to recruit officers is false and not what actual police work is.. I have been rejected 3 times, even with help from serving and retired police officers. And YES I still want to join.
The Recruitment Department put the closing date back, twice! because " We are having trouble attracting people " Why don't they start looking at the people that give up their free time with a considerable amount experience who want to join the police

I do know they're lawyers that will for free and take their cut at the end. I just don't know where to start or what to do. My children went on a vacation with my ex mother n law. She never returned them. Using a guardianship paper I never knew she had obtained illegally without my knowledge. Since shes had them she has beaten them on a daily basis with wire hangers, belts, books, shoes and pretty much anything she can get her hands on. My children told me so. My daughter called CPS and they did nothing. I called the police to examine her bruises and welts they did nothing. I requested school couselors get involved. They assured me they would and they did nothing. She told the courts I was an unfit mother without any kind of investigation. She says she is going to give them to their father who had a restraining order against him because he threatened to kill the children and myself. They live in MD. I'm in WA. I had custody. Will email more details if needed. My children need help!

this morning as my dad was driving me to school he got stopped by a police officer suposedly for speeding. but my dad wasnt speeding. it was a school zone and my dad always slows down in school zones because he knows there is always a police car there checking. so the police officer called the officer from my school so he could take me to school. i was crying and stuff because i thought we would get deported because my dad has a mexican license. my dad said they took him to jail and that the police officer was the brother-in-law of a man my dad works with, and that man hates my dad because hes racist. so my dad thinks it was all planned and that the man he works with told his brother in law to stop him. i think its true becase my dad was NOT speeding!! now my dad has to go to court so they can tell him if hes getting deported. they also took away his license.
So was there any reason my dad was arrested and should we report the police officers? i think they just did because hes mexican
