i want to be a cop but i got into some trouble a while back with drugs and i want to clear my record to become a cop. I have a application for a pardon and i need to know how to do this cause being in Law enforcement is what i want to do. I Keep getting turned down from other police departments cause i still have these felonies on my record.

It really depends on what state you live in. In Illinois, where I live pardons cannot be applied to felonies. Only misdemeanors. You need to research getting a pardon in your state, generally there is some sort of webpage from the Govenor that will tell you if you are or are not eligible. I know in IL you must write a personal essay, fill out a lot of forms, prove that you've changed your life for the better, and many other things. Try a search for "Govenor's pardon ______" put the name of your state in the blank.

Even if you get a pardon, I really doubt that they will hire your.
The police hiring model here is completely based on your past actions. Research tells us that the best way to predict somoene's future actions is to look at what they did in the past.

you cant get a job in law enforcement if you have felonies on your record
