and i'm finding it really hard to cope with. We hadn't lived in the house a month when it happened. We've installed burglary alarms ourselves from B&Q but i still don't feel secure enough to stay in the house on my own. We only popped out for 45mins when it happened and everyone says we were probably watched, which totally creeps me out! The bastard took 2 laptops as well, and it had all my photos and my CV on it and i'm worried about identity fraud. Any advice?

we have observed that our Indian Police is having too much stress at their work as they do not have comfortable working hrs. they are also human beings so they must work not more than 12 hrs shift. our country is having over polulation and over employment so if we provide more public this police job then our law will be more under control and liable. for funds we should be strick with each indian to pay tax to run our police strong and smart.

Should we be giving courses in South African schools that involve
not just dealing with crime issues, but the causes and effect,
should criminology be a subject choice from std 5 - matric in
S.A. schools, also should life skills involving community service
not be brought into the South African Schools system, to try to
stop the spread of crime to youngsters, who live in situations,
where they need to learn from example as well as experience...

Do they go far enough in the school system to talk about the
consequences of crime with teens in South Africa, this should
start at primary school level, so that at a high school level they
can make the right decisions, what do you think..........................

Now, if we as a member of the public have unfounded negative
thoughts about POLICEMEN AND WOMEN, how do they feel
about the communities that insult them instead of supporting them...

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT THE POLICE IN ANY
COUNTRY NEEDS IS THE SUPPORT OF THEIR communities,
I SUPPORT THEM 100%, WHAT ABOUT YOU, especially
in a Country like South Africa, where they are having to work
doubly hard ????

Some family were expected home hours ago, and we suspect they might be stranded, with no way to get a hold of them. Who would we call to find out if that is so, since there are several counties between here and there? I dont want to call 911, but do I need to call every county thats on the way?? How about the Texas state troopers? we dont know the liscense plate number, we just havea color/description of the vehicle.

I was on my way to pick my daughter up from her dads house one night and as I pull up to a 3 way stop sign I notice that to left(it just happened to be the way I was turning) was a police officer approaching the stop also. So he decides hes going to flip a ***** and run my tags as he keeps on going, and decides hes going to flip another ***** and come back the same way he was in the first place. I've already pulled my self over and am closing my door as he approaches me in his vehicle. He slows down as he turns on his spot light and asks how I am by my name, then proceeds to ask about my brother and my sister. He exits his vehicle and starts asking me ??'s. Then I notice hes the one that arrested me the 1st time. That time was as shady as this time. He asks me if im driving on a suspend licsence? Yes I am officer.. Well do you mind if we search you? Yes I do, Im not a 4th waiver and I still got my rights...(Mind you the officer hasnt read me my rights or even handcuffed me yet

let's say cops pulls you over or stops you on the street and asks you for i.d. for whatever reason. If you don't have it on you and refuse to give officer your name/address, etc. can the officer arrest you? If so, would you stay in jail untill you provided them with that info? Also, if you're in jail and never give out that information how can they find out and can they keep you in there without filling paper work since you didn't provide them with your i.d. and other personal information?

I moved from NY state to WA state last year. In NY had I racked up a bunch of points on my license due to speeding tickets. They have a program called the "Driver Reponsibility Program" that assesses your point total each year and assigns a fine you must pay or have your license suspended. The fines will last up to 3 years after the infraction. Since I have moved, I no longer have a NY state drivers license anyway- so should I pay the fines? Obviously I don't care what they do to me in NY, but I don't want it to affect my WA state license. The fines aren't cheap. Last year was just $100, but perhaps they changed the fines this year, because it is $200, or I can pay $500 to be done with it and not get assessed another fine next year. I know the law in NY says I need to pay, but in my opinion they are just making money on this. All together I have paid a couple thousand in terms of insurance hikes, lawyers, and ticket fines. Already too much. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Think about it if a detective wants to talk to you and give you a lie detecter test that means he dosent have enough evidence to charge you and he is trying to get a conffesion and if you just choose to remain silent they have nothing to charge you on and you get to go home and when they say it will help you if you conffess it is a lie they just say that to get you to connffess so if given the right to remain silent I will do that and consult with an attorney so why do people talk like idiots

So...here goes... I have 3 vehicles, all insured and one for sale (after a deer hit and is now having many

internal engine troubles). I parked it on the stree in our bed room community with no problems for a year, then

I forgot to renew my tabbies. Our fine city decided to do a SWEEP of illegal cars. I see a cop and a tow truck

right near my van! I inquire politely, then learn thwhat they are up to. The officer agreed to let me push my

expired tab vehicle which was illegally parked on the city street (one of 16 they tagged and towed that day, I

learned) unto MY driveway using MY other vehicle, and with a friend's help. See, it wouldn't start (it turned

over several times, but the fuel was low on octane or the pump was failing), so I had to push it into my

driveway. I got it on my private property, and parked my other legally tabbed and insured vehicle IN FRONT OF

the illegal one.

The officer insisted I still had to pay the tow driver CASH just for showing up, but I had NO CASH!! Just a

check, credit card or debit card, all of which he refused !! He offered to drive me to the nearest ATM. I had 2

neighbor kids over, MY 4 kids (including an 11 week old infant), so six (6) kids total in my care, and the wife

was out shopping! I all along stated I wanted to pay, but had to find a suitable solution to my childcare

problem at hand! My driver friend left, wanting no part in this mess, and took his daughter home from this

increasingly bothersome scene, so when he left I had noone to watch my kids so I could go get the cash. I could

not/would not leave MY kids alone to drive to an ATM!, nor did I have a carseat base to leave with! I would have

been illegally overloaded with kids if I tried to leave anyway!

The Tow guy would not come back to get his money, or take a check, so I says "I guess you'll have to take me to

court..." kind of facieously. That got them steamed, 2 more squads were called in, officer threatened to arrest

me for obstruction of justice and said he immediately would send my kids to a kid shelter (Wow, huh!? 2 weren't

even mine and one was a first time visitor! What a story she had to tell her folks!), all cuz THEY let me move

the van OFF the street. I finally conceeeded, and left one cop at my door with no right of entrys givne, left my

12 year old boy in charge of the babay, secretly thinking I would sue the pants of the city if anything happened

to my kids while I was gone with the portly cop to get their money.

My question: Could I have been arrested if I had just went inside at that point and locked the door? Just

wondering what could have happened, what my "rights" were. I had already satisfied the intent of the law, that

is, getting my unlicensed but insured van off the city street. The expired tabs came to $21, and the tow that

never happened was $103. I'm still wondering if the officer could have arrested me, or if they could have towed

BOTH of my vehilces.

They are trying to challenge police officers to cage fight and it's all a big fantasy. Should they get psychological counseling, or just get locked straight away into an asylum?
They have delusions of adequacy and like violent fantasies.
