I hold our police force in high regard. They really don't make enough money for what they actually do. Dirtbags who commit crimes don't like the police. Mainly because the police are the ones who catch them and put them in jail. I really don't care what a criminal's opinion is about the police. As far as I'm concerned they lost their credibility when they decided to become a menace to society.

I'm a law abidding citizen, and I do not respect local law enforcement where I live. With the only thing on my record being a speeding ticket, which I fought in court, bc the cop manual guessed my speed from a fixed position inside of a car. When I asked to see his speed gun, he refused. So I i fought the ticket, he lied under oath, so i ended up with a steep fine. But then again, when his boss uses county property to fund his wifes real estate business as collateral, when they conduct a 3 month stakeout to make sure stripclubs were abidding by the no full nudity law and spent $30k tax dollars on that(including liqour, lapdances, and private shows), or when 2 deputies get busted for buying stolen liquor, insurance fraud, racketeering, drug sales at another local strip club, no criminal charges, they just had to leave the department, or when another deputy got busted for hitting 2 cars, taking off, then, hitting a tree on someones property while drunk and leaving again, once again, let go. Yea, to answer your question, it does, my list could continue.
By the way, the only reason the 2 cops that got busted at the strip club even were found out, was because another department, 3 counties away had to bust them. W/O local sheriff having knowledge.LOL!

Don't do the crime unless you are ready to do the time...
That said there are pro and con on both sides of this issue and there are good people in jail for something they didn't do and that's where the police/justice/we the people system fails us.
I took a class a few years ago where a person ran in the door and made a quick exit, we were ask to ID that person, guess what, no witness there got the description or clothes color of the person right, that said we the people can't always blame others for our mistakes.
Good Luck,

I have the utmost respect for our police. If I get caught speeding, its my own fault. Its not their fault and there's no point in getting mad at them....
