A car company (let's say XYZ) posted an advertisement in a local newspaper. The article stated a sales price.

When trying to redeem the car for that price, XYZ informed that the newspaper had a misprint in the advertisement and it was the wrong price.

Is XYZ or the newspaper liable?

Should I be honored the printed price?

1st. To be a leader that will put the safety of the people he leads first!
2nd. To lower crime by not allowing children to quit school so they can get their education on the streets and not be succesful but in being drug dealers or thieves or gang members. And in fact also lower the children that end up on welfare because they can not support themselves with out a education. In afect would lower the cost of insurance because there would be less theft and save social security because there would be more people putting into it when we have more children working legal jobs, and lower taxes because tax payers would not have to build more prisons for those who have recieved their education on the streets instead of in the schools we have built.
3rd. To put all the money saved from less welfare cost and prisons not needed, into our schools. And all the money saved on all the bandaid projects that congress has waisted our money on would better out schools. Just to name a few idea's!

Tax payers are paying for Muslim foot baths in public schools, but Christians can't pray or mention Christmas.(1st and 2nd link) Calif. has a bill that would ban using the words "mom, dad, husband, wife" because they may offend gay people, and they are allowing boys and girls to use each others bathrooms and locker rooms. (2nd link)

i received a citation this morning.

it says if you or your attorney do not file a written answer with the clerk who issued this citation within 20 days...a default judgement may be taken against you.

i went to the district clerk's office to submit the written answer and when i asked what they wanted me to write they said they could not offer any advice and i would have to speak with a lawyer.

this collection agency is very crooked and i have the necessary paperwork to fight this coming shortly.

i'm not hiring a lawyer....can anyone tell me what a" written answer" is?

I just got my hair done, all blond on top & dark brown under neath. My boss said I have to talk to him about my job & my new hair style b/c he does not like it. I think that he is going to try to get me to change it or treaten me with my job, CAN HE DO THAT??? If he can not then I WILL NOT CHANGE it back. I am a grown woman & don't feel the need to have permission to color my hair.

it is not pink, blue or any other crazy color. It is not sticking up like a mowhawk or anything crazy like that. He is just old school & does not like the change.

A woman told my wife during a verbal altercation that I was sleeping with my former boss. My wife wants to leave me and we had a big fight over this in front of our children. Of course I did not sleep with my ex-boss and my ex-boss would confirm that. When I asked the woman why she made it up, she replied that she felt threatend and was trying to say anything to make my wife go away. I believe this is slander, but what our my legal options and what do I have to gain or lose by a lawsuit?

This is what happened this morning to former Yankee, Jim Leyritz, after he apparently drove intoxicated and killed a woman in Florida.

I've heard this with plenty of other people as well. Shouldn't these people be required to take breathalyzer tests?

Man crashed into us, ran the stop sign.
Ford motor company looked at it and said he could fix it for $1,600. Only needed two new doors.
The man who crashed into us.. his insurrance people came and looked at the car at the Ford motor company and they valued it at only $1,700 and it would be $2,170 to fix it. They will not give her that much money to fix the car. So they're going to take the car and destroy it, because they will not pay that much. They would only give up to $1,700. We do not get the $1,700, because the car was collateral in a loan. No money goes to us.

My sister has been missing since Monday. She has an addiction problem and I think that this is related. The father of her 2 children, ages 9 and 7, also has an addiction problem. He is also a criminal (dishonorable discharge from the Marines for stealing weaponry) and violent. His mother, his father and my sister all have Protection from Abuse orders on him. He is a pathological liar, and can get any judge to believe him. The children have not seen him for almost 4 years, they've been staying at my mother's house, along with their 4 year old sister (different father) and my sister. Since my sister's disappearing act, the children's father has gotten wind of the situation and gone through the motions to get a custody hearing for this coming Monday. My mother is disabled and is unable to care for them full time, so I was wondering if I have any rights as their aunt.
