i think morality can be used against you. im not saying what you are doing is immoral, but some people could put a spin on it like that.

What state are you in? The term legally separated means different things. In some states, if you aren't living under the same roof intentionally, you're separated. Even if you don't have a separation agreement.
Regardless, it can't help to be seeing someone else when you haven't resolved the issue at hand. Once you have a separation agreement signed (which usually includes the ability to begin seeing others without any repercussions related to the pending divorce), then pick things back up.
If the other person can't understand that or isn't willing to wait for you, what does that say about the odds of long term happiness with the new person?

No, your child can not be taken away unless your partner is the child's parent. If your partner wants to go threw a custody hearing your child can taken away if your partner can prove you are an unfit parent, for example you cheated on your partner, you
don't pay attention to your child, you abuse the child, anything similar to that can make a judge biased, and a judge, especially a female judge will sometimes side with the mother. Good Luck

no you can not, my husband left me at 8 months preg for someone else we were never legally separted and didn't file for divorce for 5 or 6 months and during that time i started seening someone else, it does not matter the judge didn't even want to hear about either case they do not care, as long as you take care of your child you have nothing to worry about. You are not together so it is not wrong~go ahead and do what makes you happy

Are you and the child's father living in seperate homes?If so then not a chance unless the new guy is some kind of criminal or abusive to you or your child. My children's father tried this threat when I first left him, too. It's nothing but an empty threat from an angry man.

No, your children have to be in immediate danger. Your husband can file a motion for full custody (if you are not living together) based on that fact. However he would have to prove that the relationship was causing you to be an unfit mother.

No - depending on the proof your ex has - if you started the affair before you were seperated he can get you for adultary.
However unless this person you are seeing is very unfit for the children - you cannot lose your children over it.
The other person must prove you unfit - in order for your children to be taken away.

depends on if other spouse wants to hire a lawyer and make an issue out of it--then it would be up to lawyer to make you out to be such a bad parent so if you live a pretty decent life and a good parent and the chid is not in any danger-odds are no judge going to rule agaisnt you

But if you or the person you are not legally seperated from are living in different places from each other, it still wouldn't make it anyones business.

Depends on the laws of your state. If you were in CA you could be a female convicted felon and keep your kids.
