I have two friends, one 17 and one 21 and i'm not sure if it's legal for them to have sex. The law is that it's okay for a 17 year old to have sex with adults, but does that apply for homosexuals too? Anyone know and can give full detail?

It is legal in Louisiana for 17 year olds to have consensual sex with adults.
This also applies to homosexual relationships.
People are people.

Unfortunately I'm not really familiar with the specifics in the particular state, but in general you should not have to worry about differences in Statutory laws between hetero or homosexual consensual sex.
Unfortunately, Louisiana is in the bible belt, so there may be laws on the books making Sodomy illegal, or other things which they can use to try and make life more difficult for homosexuals.

if its okay for a 17 year old to have sex with adults in louisiana, then it is legal for them to have sex. homosexuals are just the same as everyone else. people are just ignorant to how other people feel and debate the marriage factor. so yes it is legal.

Sex of any kind, outside of the city limits of new Orleans, is not legal in the state of Louisiana.

Interesting question. I would have to read the details of the law. There might be another law that addresses this under the heading of "sexual offenders" or "pedophiles". I would research that possibility.

Maybe you should ask if it is moral, not simply legal, for bum-bandits to ply their trade? I suspect that you suggest that corrupting our innocent and naive youths should be encouraged.

However remember should they end up married (now legal in several states) and later divorced they are still legally brothers.
