Its not okay in any way.The truth of our society is that racism and ignorance abounds across various religions and races. A lot of people do not even know when they are saying something insulting (because they are that ignorant). As an intelligent human, you have the opportunity to educate others on their ignorance.

Non-Christians look at Christianity as a religion of hate. They recount horror stories from the dark and middle ages, and while they are correct that bad things have happened in the name of God at the hands of "Christians," the always seem to overlook bad things that have happened in life in the name of God at the hands of NON-Christians.

The fact is that while Christianity is very unpopular in our day and age and considered a religion of hate, it is suddenly PC to blast Christians for their beliefs - not to tolerate, as the non-Christians preach we should.

The second fact is that we are all human and we all make mistakes, like it or not. We all have our vices, we all have our idiosyncracies, we all have our moments. As a Christian, I am often held to a higher standard than most BECAUSE I am a Christian, as if my Christianity is supposed to make me more perfect than everyone else, and if I have sin issues, which I do, then that makes me a hypocrite and less of a Christian. In reality, my sin issues dont make me less of a Christian, they just make me more human.

The 1st amendment gives right to free speech true enough. The 1st amendment was giving to us for free speech to Government and also to others, but one has to suffer the coincidences when expressing against non-government.

I guess it would depend on your definition of "OK". People of all religions are allowed by the first amendment to voice their opinions. The choice to voice hate filled opinions against people based on religion is not limited to "others", many Christians do the same.

In my mind, it is legal to spout off hate filled rhetoric about others. It is not "OK".

Yes and no. Usually it's OK, but the law recognizes such a thing as fighting words. If the person says something likely to start a fight, that's not legal.

We have this little document called the First Amendment, and it protects your right to post your feelings here, while others tell you what they think of your kind.

I'm assuming that because you made it a point to tell us that you are white and christian, that you think yourself superior to non-whites who don't believe in your god or your savior.
