about the victims? I do care about the victims and their families a whole lot...I just don't believe that we have the right to take another person's life even if that person committed the most heinous crimes. Also there is always the possibility of putting an innocent person to death. So even one mistake is just unacceptable!...Killing should only be in self-defense. I think that life without the possibility of parole is a much better punishment for some of the worst psychopaths in our world. Why? people like that don't fear death anyway. People say things like "but what if they escape, what if they get pardoned and go out and do it again?'...well the chances of that happening are extremely slim. What we should do is let the prisoner decided if he/she wants to die and let them do it themselves! ...let's also force them to pay restitution to the victims and the people they hurt. It makes more sense like that!

My home borders a railroad track out in the country.About 3 years ago,the RR replaced all the ties, left several HUGE piles, hundreds, maybe thousands of them on the other side of the RR track.Since then,I ,and my wife, have had rashes, breathing problems, and I have been diagnosed with cirrhossis(never drank,no hepatitis)and several blood disorders. We have also had a devil of a time with this "black soot"looking stuff, all in the ac filters, ceiling fans, walls. It's been driving us crazy,as we are neat freaks.I finally called an "air quality specialist"who came out, said it wasn't mold, and beyond his scope. His guess was the pile of RR ties.He put me in touch with the EPA,who sounded VERY concerned when they questioned me and are going to send agents out to test the air, soil, and water.O.K.,Background over.My question.

This home is my LIFE,I have blood, sweat, and tears in every board in this house, every flower and fruit tree in the yard.My imagination is going wild.

The new EU health care directive will allow Britons trapped in endless queues to get into our filthy hospitals with their fatal infections to gain quick access to the excellent European facilities such as those of Germany, France and Holland. The fact that the dreadful Frank Dobson and other Labour hacks are against the idea is the best argument for its immediate implimentation. At last, we will have a reformed public service - the ultimate British oxymoron.

In India no cow can be slaughtered b coz Hindus consider the animal to be their mother by faith. A Muslim or Christian or a Jew cannot slaughter one's own cow neither in slaughter house nor in one's own house i.e., one cannot use one's own belonging according to one's own wishes. Is not it a rule of slavery ? If someone does so at public places it may hurt their sentiments. But when a cow herself stops giving milks , the owners themselves leave it on the roads to become stray animal for decades dirtying open spaces. west Bengal state people smuggle 30,000 such cows per day towards Bangladesh for good return as price. Samething people of Barmer & Jodhpur district do towards Pakistan. In both countries those smuggled ones are slaughtered. Is it not hippocricy ? Even in disputed territory like Kashmir states's part under Indian control since 1947, whose fate is yet to be decided by public, cows of people are not allowed to be cut by India. How can it be justified ? Is it true freedom ?

I live on two acres and I had a landscaper do some extensive irrigation systems and do allot of planting. The grass never did come up and over a third of the plants died. I called the landscaper and said that he was out of money and wasn't able to purchase more seed to complete the job. Went to Small Claims Court and won a judgement for $5,400.

He is self employed and moves from job to job, so garnashing any wages would be tuff. I attempted to turn it over to a collection agency and when the manager saw the name on my folder, he said "get in line, this guy owes everybody in town".

I have paid him a visit at his house (that he rents) and demanded my money. My demand didn't affect him, but it sure scard the hell out of his wife and doesn't want me to visit his residents any more.

I did find out that he also doesn't have a bank account. He pays his bills with money orders.

Aside from just beating the crap out of the guy, do I have any options to get my money back.

I was recently told that you can literally "give back" your Social Security Number. That, with all of the problems in the government and the management of our Social Security, someone can actually elect to opt out of the Social Security program and cash out whatever contribution they've made so far. I know the identity, medical care, license, work, and housing problems associated with not having one. I'm curious though, about the actual legality of it.

Can you really give it back if you are willing to put up with the inconvenience? Could you earn more if you were to invest that money yourself, with the shape that the Social Security Program is in? Is that a financially wise move to make? Is it even technically, legally possible?

I am currently living at a hotel on the strip for the winter, and I have heard tell that hotels in VA are not allowed BY LAW to have any type of lease agreement. Is this true? Also, if the police do a successful drug bust on a hotel room, isn't the hotel LEGALLY required to evict that person or persons??? Any insight on this would be GREATLY appreciated. My husband and I are waiting to take legal action until we fid out more.

this is kinda a long story but i'll make it short..a month ago i purchased a sidekick 2 online from a 17 year old girl(it was through myspace, yes i know i shouldnt have). i trusted her because she had a "shop" site and had positive feedback from several people. i sent her $60 through paypal. basically i never recieved anything and finally after i told her i was going to send her to court she sent me some verizon phone with gross videos of her doing things to some guy! well i told her i want my money back and she said she would send it but never did. me being smart i had screen shot every single message, from day 1 and saved it to my computer. i looked up her dad's name in the white pages and found her address. i sent her a message saying that i have it (i was never rude or said a curse word) so its not like she can just try and get out of giving my money back. now her dad wants to sue me just for looking up their address! can they do that after she scammed me and i have all the proof?
