My Construction Co did some work at a new restrauant (Greek) that just opened in our community. When we was done the owner said he did not have the money to pay us. Agreed to a payment plan and now the owner wants us to more work for him in order to receive the remaining balance on previous work. I refused and now he refuses to pay for the work done. Filed small claim in court - Now I have to prove my case - I have never done this before. Open to suggestions. Thanks

There was an article on lock bumping break ins, but here in AZ we have had a lot of crimes where the guy enters with the express purpose of victimizing children or young women.

Please don't think of alarms as just protection for your tvs and stereos.

I took my ex back to court to get more money for child support. He was given a large inheiratence a year after we split up. We were never married and had a son together. Just this last week I took him back to raise my support from $1000 a month to hope fully $2000 a month but was willing to settle for $1500. And instead the asshole judge cuts my support form $1000 to $500! How am I supposed to live on that with my child? Its hard enough to get by. And do you think my ex would give me some money to buy a cheap place for our son? No! He's out living it up and going to "college". What can I do to get more money from my ex? Can I take him back to court? Is there someone out there that can help me? I really have no money!

A couple months back i traded my guitar amp and drums to someone for there car, however when we got there it was late it was dark as well so i was just in a hurry to get home My mom made the guy write up a bill of sale just in case anything went wrong. he gave us the tittle it was a bit damp but it had rained that morning and he told us it had got a little wet, just let it dry. so we figured everything was alrgiht, again, it was dark so when he showed it to us everything looked cool. he kept telling us He wanted us to put the plates from my moms car on his and just take the car with us home. My mom started getting a bit nervious so she did not want to sign anything until she got everything done at the dmv. later at home she tells me that someone tryed to wash off the name on the tittle! he contenued to tell us he would get a clean tittle but didnt. so i just lost out on like 1500 worth of equiptment. i have proof of letters and copys of bill of sale + tittle, can i sue him???

I'm a store manager. I left my assistant in charge over my store overseeing a cashier. Later that night, I learned that the cashier draw came up short 450. The cashier claims he didn't take it stating that the manager had authority and password to his draws, he also said that she works under his number and counted his draw as well. I have a old store, but no cameras. I'm just goin off based on the report generated at the end of the shift. Do I have proof to fault him? He is on suspension doing the investigation. How do u investigate? Will it cause me a lot of money to prosecute? If I can't prosecute him, how can I seek justice? by the way, my assistant is white and the cashier is black, so? Help me!

My wife actually signed our son up with KTN sometime in May without my permission. I was absolutely pissed that she did this but after she calmed me down I told her I would give it a fair shot since she felt strongly about it. 6 months and $500 bucks later my wife has finally agreed that this whole thing is a scam. KTN takes your money, doesn't really make any promises because they know deep down your not going to get any work at all. When you ask for your money back for services not rendered there pitch is we are a network not an agency. So they basically don't do anything for you except slap your picture in a pretty little database and collect your money. I am downright angry and if I have to post something everyday to warn people to stay away from this company this is what will do. Don't get caught up with the great things they say about your kids or the fact they are with the BBB. The BBB is around because of it's members. They are not going to bite the hand that feeds them.

My ex and I are in disagreement over who should keep a diamond ring.

We were together for 2 1/2 years and for my birthday he gave me a diamond ring (a "promise" ring). Eventually he broke up with me after a lot of relationship problems we were having cause by us both, but we managed to come out of it still friends. Then I joined the Army and because I was told I couldn't bring jewelry to basic, and I didn't feel comfortable bring something that valuable with me, I left it with him and told him when I was done with all my training and came back home I would get it back from him...he had no arguments. Well, I've been out of training for a while now and have asked him several times to give it back and he refuses. He said he believes it has more sentimental value to him than it does to me...like he has the right to presume how much it means to me. I am willing to do what's necessary to get it back if its legally mine. So who has the right to keep it?

I was an employee with Ernst and Young's IT Audit Practice for two and a half years.. During that time, I was an experienced Staff within their IT Audit Practice.. One year passed by and I was not promoted to Senior.. This was normal as I had not been with the firm for a full year.. However, during my second year, I was passed over yet again to being promoted to Senior.. Because I was passed over two years in a row, HR immediately held a meeting with myself, our leading practice Partner, and our HR Coordinator.. The HR Coordinator and the Partner sat me down and said that because I was passed over twice to being promoted, I was going to be terminated.. However, in all of my engagement reviews, I received rave and positive reviews.. All of my Managers indicated in my reviews that I was ready to become a Senior.. When I brought this to HR and the Partner's attention, they said what was written did not accurately reflect everyone's feelings during our Year-End Reviews.. Can I take action?

I got a job with a new company, signed the papers and was supposed to start working on Thursday. But just today they called me up and said that they don't want to hire me because they are doing some reorganization.

I mean is this legal, i.e. to reject a candidate even after both of us confirmed the position and signed the documents & I haven't worked a single day there?

Much like physicians, pilots & CPA's will America's future employee's at ALL levels need to certified for employment by the Dept of Labor & industries? Janitors, carpenters, pro atheletes, I mean every body baby sitters also? Will the day come when all will need to attend a state managed institute of higher education(academic or trade) to be eligible for ANY employment? Will Americans see the day when they are assigned jobs by skill level thru the Dept of Labor & Industries? Will state managed unions dictate worker conditions by creed? I'm noticing that the fields of education, state managed labor(L&I) & unions seem to be getting EXTREMELY inter woven. Will the day of "picking" your field of interest be replaced by an aptitude test & your field of employment be selected for you? Think about it, already you degree(education) in a field say a pilot, verify & register(L&I) for permission to work & the union is mandatory. Is this where we end up. You tell me.

Back in February I had a friend call and his PC's were not working. I took both of them and left him a router which he said he would pay for and also told him he could borrow my daughter's laptop because I knew it would be a while before I would have time to even sit down to look at his computers.

Well It took me months to sit down to even look at them. I had a surprise pregnancy which let's just say really took it's toll on me. I'm finally due to give birth any day now.

I did fix his pc's.

I've been trying to get a hold of him and have only been successful one time and that is when I called his work # from a blocked line. He told me he would call me the next day but he didn't.

I have left NUMEROUS messages and I am pretty distressed now. He will not call me back.

What do I do? He has a good job and can certainly afford to buy his own laptop. This is my 12 year olds laptop and it's almost 2 years old.

What should be my next step?

Thanks for any suggestions.

About a month ago I posted a question pretty much asking if the security at our high school has the right to verbally and physically abuse us whether or not we had done anything wrong because usually it didn't matter because they would still act abusive towards us. So anyway recently a friend of mine who never starts any trouble asks me If I want to go to the principals office to talk to the principal about security i turned it down because I knew we didn't have anything to back it up yet. So she goes by herself and tells the principal about a specific incident she witnessed and the principal replies "well the security guards have a hard time swithing between good kids and common thugs ". I feel that she i saying that all of us should be treated like "thugs" and i find that disrespectful because I am not a thug I have a 4.00 gpa. I mean maybe that's just me what do you all think of her comment. Does that justify security being abusive.

Islam has two faces: 'moderate' and 'extreme'. These 'two faces' have been designed to throw the host countries (which they have invaded) off the scent of the true agenda of Islam, which is to make EVERY human on EARTH abide by Sharia lawa. THEY WILL OVERWHELM EUROPE WITH SHEER NUMBERS, and everyone who does not comply WILL be allowed to live in these new Muslim lands, but will have to pay a special 'kuffar' tax, and be classed as second rate citizens, or in some cases slaves. It's all in their books. Also I have learned of the lies (or AL TAKIYAH) which islam employs to keep their safe status in european countries.

This is what the old europeans in spain were faced with, a nice moderate helpful muslim community... or so they thought!

But this community was only there to lie and commit al takiyah, to soften people for the planned coming of the radicals from morocco.

THE QUESTION IS:

CONVERT OR DIE?
