As a 28-year-old who can legally drink, I say yes. How stupid is it that think people are "adult" enough to be shipped off to war at 18, sent to prison at 18, but not adult enough to crack open a bottle of beer?

Someone please give me one good reason.

Drop the drinking age to 18 or at least 19. Fair is fair.

In may of this year i was working for an independent contractor. One thursday night I went to check my bank account before withdrawling cash from an atm and i noticed my paycheck from my boss had bounced causing my bank account to over draft. The next day i talked to him about it and he told me once he got paid on monday from the job we just finished he would make it right and pay the fines and two weeks of pay he now owed me. Well the next day on saturday he was in an accident putting him in the hospital for a month with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. The next day I ended up losing my part time job at Lowe's due to lay off. So all my income was cut off and I was 700$ in the hole. The only way for me to get out of debt was to go to my girlfriends mom. She loaned me the money and wants it back now. She runs her own buisness which i have been working for on the weekends. She still pays me what she owes me. But now I cant get my ex-boss to take or return my calls.

Will (b) get in trouble for any of this?
Since its his fault she commited suicide, and she was carrying his kid.
They kinda have proof its his fault becuase of a suicide note she left.

A friend of mine is married but has not seen her husband in 4 years. He now lives in another county with his girlfriend. She just found out that he signed on a Mortgage with his girlfriend as a "Single Man" and on the Quit Claim Deed as an "Unmarried Man". She has been asking for a divorce for 3 years now and just found this out. Does anyone know the recourse of this and because she lives in a "Community Property" state, is she entitled to either money or some of this property. I know she needs to see an attorney for a consultation. She just needs to know where to start and was it fraud on the Mortgage. I am sure the Mortgage Company does not know that he is still married and put down that he is unmarried and single. Please help!

My son father continues to contact me after he has had several restraining orders issued. He has been to domestic violence classes and has had to do community service. He has been arrested in court after I showed the city attorney an e-mail where he wanted me to change the story about how he choked me in front of our 6 year old son. The police has made it clear to him that if he wants to be involved with his son he must go to family court. He recently showed up to my sons basketball scrimage. He has another son who was enrolled at the same park. He claims that he didnt know but my son told me about how his brother was on the same team and I would think that his 7 year old would have mentioned to him how his brother was playing. I had my 12 year old go to the scrimmage and he spoke with my 12 year old and then spoke to my 6 year old. My son was really excited to see him and wants to see him but I will not do anything without courts being involved.

The worksheet says:

A political dissident from a foreign country decides to leave his homeland and move the United States. This was a difficult decision, since he was very wealthy. If he left the country, his government would not allow him to take his wealth and most of his money and property would be fortified to the state. Also, if he entered the US with a large sum of money he would need to explain the source of the money, and the government would not let him enter until he had clearance from his home country.

He decided to convert all of his assets to gold bullion and hid it for the trip. He was arrested entering the US and charged with smuggling gold. The US border Agents found for gold bricks. Each was a standard 15cm x 8cm x 5cm in size and had a total mass of 18.864 kg.

Three days later, the suspect was released and the charges dropped.

Explain why. Be complete in your explanation, as if you were giving evidence in court.

I have been working, part time for the RV Park I live in here in Texas for over a year. My last date of doing any work was the first week of August. I had a spoken agreement with the park manager/part owner. The other owners took the financial aspect away from the manager. However, I had worked 20 hours in August..the first week. I received a letter from the other owners during the second week of August that as of AUG 1 my services were no longer needed and I would not be compensated in any way. Can they BACK DATE that like that? Or can they only NOT pay me for any thing done after the date of that letter? I was not given the letter until 8-10 days after I had done the work. I have contacted the ones who sent the letter, asking ONLY for what I had coming to me in August. They basically said, sue the manager, who is their sister, not the rest! Is this legal? Dont they have to pay me what is owed prior to the date I received the letter? Any help would be appreciated.
