You're right. I'm sure with all of the press that this situation is getting, the charges will be dropped or modified.

okay everyone, i live in LOUISIANA the state where this is happening so i actually know whats going on. but first what is the "Kowards Krew Klan" ??? if your going to make a reference to the Klu Klux Klan, at least call them by their right name, using a completely wrong one just makes you appear stupid & uninformed. also, chicago is NOT the south.

anyway, most people dont even know the full story about what happened with the Jena 6, what happened was that six black boys jumped the WRONG white kid, they jumped an innocent white kid that didnt do anything to them. he wasnt the one who hung a noose in the tree!
and the kid that went to trial already was tried by an all white jury yes, BECAUSE none of the black people called for jury duty showed up. thats hardly racism. thats laziness.

and yes a white kid hung a noose in a tree, and that is insulting to the black community or whatever, but wouldnt it be more honorable for the black kids to rise above that and not sink to that level?
how can you feel sorry for six black kids that seriously injured someone who didnt even do anything? they didnt even make sure they had the right guy!
besides some of those guys already had criminal records!!
by no means are the jena six innocent.

oh and if six white kids jumped a black kid, do you think anyone would be on the white kids side? no.
think about that.

you have 4 stories mix together, as the rest of the country and that is what the parents of the six are banking on to keep the drama alive. the one white kid had nothing to do with any other incident. none. Jena, La. has had no prior racial problems. none. when it is all said and done the truth will come out and then the rest of the world will finally know the truth.

Racism is wrong. Using violence to solve problems is wrong. Racism does not justify violence. Who ever hung the nooses was wrong and deserves to be punished properly. The six students that beat the other student deserve to serve a good long time in jail. I think it is pretty clear they wanted to kill him. If all of them were the same race, there would not even be a discussion.

What if 5 white guys jumped on a black guy? Bet you'd be talking out of the other side of your mouth, then.
Why should race or the cause of the fight affect the charge? You sound racist yourself.

On the other hand a noose is not synonomous with hangin black people. The noose sees no color as it was used to hang everyone of all colors. In states where hanging is not cruel and unusual punishment it is not that surprising.

PS I grew up in DC and now live in backwater texas, so I understand.
