My attorney has aked me to OK his handling a client with whom I am involved in a real estate transaction. The attorney currently is retained only by me. The attorney would represent the other party in another seperate non-affiliated transaction to which I am not a party. What are my rights???? And advice?

"What are my rights?" You have the right to say Yes or No. If you plan on saying No, I would have a good reason.

"The attorney currently is retained only by me" - Not likely. Lawyers take retainers from many clients, not just one. Otherwise you would be paying his entire salary.

I don't see any reason to ask him to not take on the other client.
