I am wondering if it is legal to find out how much the teachers and administrators received in salaries from the public school systems and have this published. This could help get raises for the underpaid and call for action against those overpayed.

Last night I was reviewing the Amber alert and Meagan's law, both named after innocent little girls who were tragically murdered and or raped. Also I constantly see the sick ppl on to catch a predator... What's causing a person to think that molesting and or murdering a child is ok? I'm thinking it's a cycle of abuse, but there has to be more to it.

Will you still be against it????

Is there any legal process to follow or anything that I can do after a jury has turned in a guilty verdict? After sleeping on my decision I have had a change of mind about someone's guilt. Do I have to live with this decision or is there some process to overturn or change a verdict?

A) Think he's guilty
B) Think he's innocent
C) Think he's guilty, but was setup
D) Don't give a damn about this insignificant news and tired of the major networks giving it so much coverage.

Obviously my answer would be D. Boy the media sure knows how to tell us a lot without telling us anything now adays.

We keep hearing about this balance between liberty and security. What gives anyone the right to circumvent the Constitution and the Bill of rights for any reason?

It doesn't say "This Constitution will be null and void if there is a threat to our security.

As Jefferson said if you trade liberty for security you have neither..

whichever way you cut it - if they sedated their children so they could wine and dine themselves they're scumbags aren't they?

I don't care how much P.R. they organise to kid us they're full of 'swetness & light' - the fact remains IF and I stress that word IF this is true, they should be prosecuted at the very least on some sort of 'child endangerment' charge, especially being as they're both in the medical profession - by OUR courts let alone the strange & secretive portuguese legal system - wouldn't you agree? If for no other reason than set an example!

Morality seems to be disappearing from this planet like air out of airlock - is someone going to seal this door or should we all start picking up clubs and stones and start going UG UG OOG OOG again?!!!

It happened at the Art Block, last periods of the day -- any ideas on how to lure the thief again? Or to simply find who stole my PSP?

Advise from people with legal backgrounds and credentials only please. My 1/2 sister got upset when her ex told her he wants joint custody (which he probably wouldn't want to do for a year or so anyway). I currently live and have a serious relationship with him (the ex). When he told her this she said he would never see the kids again unless he moved out of my house. Two days later I had a knock at the door and it was an officer with two protective orders against me from seeing the kids saying that I threatened them with harm or put them in fear of harm. I never did! We were actually going to go to Cedar Point with the kids. Anyway now what do I do at the hearing to best help? Does she have the right to keep me from the kids when it also affects visitation with their dad because he lives with me? What do I do to help my case and what shouldn't I do?

Hi, I am interested in knowing your position about constitutional interpretation. The thing is, in Germany (an most of Continental Constitutional Systems) theory recognizes a thing called "constitutional mutation" this means that when the Constitutional Court interprets a constitutional norm, and changes the sense of it, the norm "mutates".
Naturally, there is a way to ammend the constitution, but they do not mean that, they mean that the text stays the same, only the sense changes.
Now, how can I compare this concept with American Constitutionalism? Do you think it is comparable with the judicial interpretation theories? I mean strict constructionism or the living constitution idea....just to name what I´ve read of.

What books or articles do you reccomend me?

Thank you very much.
