My PSP was stolen on Monday, and after realizing from this site that there's no way I can track it, I want to attempt to find the thief. Any ideas?

It happened at the Art Block, last periods of the day -- any ideas on how to lure the thief again? Or to simply find who stole my PSP?

Unfortunately this is one of the experiences that tends to happen in schools - if anything you've probably learnt the important lesson of not bringing anything valuable to class.

My advice would be, if you haven't already, to contact a teacher or perhaps even the principal and inform them of the situation. It may also be a good idea if you get maybe a parent or guardian to call up and make a formal complaint - school's take adults a lot more seriously than they do their students.

It's probably worthwhile making a police report as well. Although the police will most likely just take a statement from you and keep it on record, if it ever reappears then they would be the people who would be able to return you.

It's not catching the thief, but the easiest and best solution to the problem is to look after your bags, keep them with you! If it's unpractical to carry them with you all the time, propose to the teachers that the students have lockers so you have somewhere secure to put your stuff. It's a shame there's people around that would do this, but don't suspect everyone - most people will be worried just like you, only a very small number of people would do this! Hope the problem works out alright

Hmm hard one! thing is it could be already sold off by the person who stole it from you!
But what you could do is just keep an eye out with some with a new psp at your school! if you have distinctive markings on it then you know who took it!

remember i had a bully that would always tell girls to steal all my ****! @#%@##@ #$@#$ why are there people like this in this world!

teachers don't do anything these days too help any situation at schools ! its a sham i tell you lol!

Anyways i hope you find it!

First off don't talk about FINDING or Cathing this theif,

Second, Did any MALE friends approach you?

I remember that a few friends of mine were robbed by a friend they really liked but that they weren't very close, they were caught in a funny way

he broke in thru his window and they followed the foot prints in the mud and snow

My suggestion is this

Put newspaper on the floor with a few splotches of paint blue

then place a decoy like your cell or something

and walk away

see if it goes missing

BUT like I said It is some one you know and usually a male in sports, who uses

its been my experience that someone saw him , and thought he was playing with you

OR

a sneaky son of a gun

There might be no way to track it but you can report it stolen, and you should, also you should call sony and if its registered report it stolen that way aswell, many idiots forget they stole things and will call to report mechanical problems, or register online games ECT...

So call them today.

Good luck

Meg

AND DON'T TELL ANYONE , the bigger the deal the less likely you are to cath this theif.

and remember its probably a friend...

Call the police and file a report. With luck the thief is stupid enough to get caught. Most thief's are stupid.
