okay, last december 2005 I was involved in a minor car accident due to weather conditions, and I had to pay my auto insurance company a "500 deductible" to repair the damages that I made to my vehicle, so they had fixed it. This august of 2007, I recieve a letter from my insurance policy attorney stating that I am being sue by the plantiff of the vehicle that I hit. Why I'm being sued if I was cover by my insurance policy and the plantiff car, and is there anything I can do to defend myself. Because they should go after my insurance company if they didn't pay for the plantiff car.... not me.

OK, OJ clearly killed his wife and Ron Goldman. I don't think there's anyone in the country who disputes this anymore. Subsequently, OJ got off. A guilty man did not go to jail. He had good lawyers. It happens.

Now, fast forward 13 years. Just as clearly as OJ killed Ron and Nicole, OJ was set up. With startling speed, OJ was arrested, arraigned, and charged with a lot of crimes that no other defendent would have been charged with. He's also being held without bail. For going unarmed into a hotel room and trying to get his stuff back? No, this is all because OJ got off 13 years ago. The police weren't screwing him then, but they sure are now! So OJ's finally going to go to jail, maybe for life, and definitely because he murdered two people in 1994, not because he took some stuff from a hotel room. Here's my question: is it fair? Is justice being served by railroading him for a bunch of bullsht he didn't do to make up for something he really did do? Is that our system?

I was thinking of doing one for a prospective renter, but on the other hand, there is no guarantee that the rent will be there every month. I have checked with past and current landlords, and they don't have any problems. What are your feelings?

He charged them 2300 for remodeling an old bathroom. Everything all new. They had no problem until payday and barely gave us our check. Now, four weeks later, they claim we "ruined" their bathroom walls. We charged 800 for the labor of nine days. They have called and said that they are going to sue. They've called our house five times today cussing us out. Shouldn't they wait and get their lawer to call. Can they be harrasing us like this? Their walls look just like a new bathroom and we have no idea what they are talking about. Didn't they close the deal by handing us the check. They waited four weeks to call us. How does this sound?

Ok, so my Mom's boyfriend and I turned my Dad in for growing weed. He's been verbally abusing me for a while and I snapped. He had me down to zero.

So we turned him in. He's been growing weed since I was a baby, maybe before that. He's a good guy at heart, but he's so mean. That's not my Dad anymore.

The cops seized his brand new truck and have pics of him out at his plantation. He cried in front of me the other night. I regret turning him in. My Mom isn't stable, she skips from house to house. I didn't think of what it would be like going back there. And I love my Dad, I'm just so sorry. I forgive him for all the rotten and evil things he's done to me, my Mom, and my siblings. Believe me, he's done a lot.

But I don't want him to go to jail! No one deserves that! He was only doing that to support his family! He does have money, so if he could get a good lawyer, could he get off with no jail time? If not, what's the minimum time he would have to serve? Max?

I moved into my landladys flat 6 months ago, at first she gave me a three month tenancy agreement when the three months were up she then gave me a lodgers agreement with out telling me it was changing. What is the difference? I pay £400 a month inclusive of bills, but i heard that as a lodger she can only take £350 a months plus should provide me with meals, (which she hasnt provided) is this true? If so what can i do to get my money back?

I signed a non-compete clause with my employer almost 30 years ago. They then let me go about a week ago for unkown reasons. I want to start my own buisness in the same field of work because that is the only thing i know. I would also be bidding on jobs against them. Can they really stop me from working? The clause says that i have to wait 2 years and can't compete within 100 miles. If it matters i live in Missouri.

Is it possible that someone would request a job interview for a person by e-mail? I sent a cover letter and a resume to a company and I had an interview with them a few weeks back. Waiting to hear from them. They called me for the interview I sent the cover letter in the e-mail along with the resume as an attachment. This other company, in which I did the same thing with my cover letter and resume actually e-mailed me back. From the letter it seemed like the hiring manager was willing to grant me an interview and I think mentioned to call the receptionist. I am not sure what to think. I would have thought the company would call for an interview instead of through e-mail. Do not know,it seems sort of unlegit and unproffesional?
What do you guys think? I do not know. I am just wondering if they might be pulling my leg or something.

My boss rescheduled a meeting 3 times. The last day she rescheduled was a day I had scheduled off, the following day. She called on phone yelling, you have to go. I told her i couldn't and she said you are fired. Can i get unemployment?
I have been supervisor for 7 years, no write ups or warnigs. I believe she heard a rumor that i had spoken to a licensing agency regarding issues at work. She fired me for not attending a meeting the day before the meeting happened.

I was abroad for a few months, I returned to find that the tenant in my girlfriend's flat (where I live also) has disappeared without paying for the last month's rent, he also made £700 of international calls and premium rate calls to sex lines which came off my BT phone bill and stole my laptop worth £1500 plus other smaller items.

All I have now is his name and a mobile phone number. When I call him I can tell he is scared because he knows I will probably inflict some serious physical damage on him if I see him... but he refuses to pay anything..

I can't go to the police because it is a council flat that my girlfriend let out illegally... and they wouldn't help anyway. How do I find out this scumbags address ? He refuses to meet me to give me the money. How do I make him pay ?

I think this guy got what he had coming. He clearly is resisting in the video below and was not cooperative. Why do people think they can go around acting like total jackasses without fear of being reprimanded for it? If I was a cop this guy would have been tasered the second he resisted.

OK. Over the summer I was sexually sbused by my 12 year old brother and since he was 2 months away from 13, they said they coulsn't do anything other than informal probation. Do you think that is wrong since in some cases minors are tried as adults as young as 15, 16. I am 14 by the way.

If it was fathers then they'd have no problem in exposing it. And the government launched a massive knee jerk reaction to help abuse anyone who exposed the mothers who kill..... Professor Sir Roy Meadows was rightd!! His Evidence still stands. The evidence they used to 'discredit' his findings was it's self discredited. He was right. We *have* an epidemic of mothers who kill..... Again, imagine this was fathers and you know that there would be nowhere near as much effort put into aiding and abetting them. You know it. Sexism is bad but when it helps kill our children then something has to be done.
