This does not say I am for or against gay marriage. This is just a QUESTION.

Support. The government has no justification for denying the benefits of marriage only because someone is gay. Religious rhetoric has no place in a debate about law.

For. Marriage is a sacrament only. Civil Unions are merely a way of providing some of the same legal rights to all tax-paying citizens.

I support gay marriages because everyone has the right to be with someone they love. Obviously, a couple wants to make a committment to eachother. So what's the big deal? Remember separation between Church and State? Somewhere, someone has crossed the lines. Then again, it's only my opinion.

Support it! Older gay men should be exposed to scamming young things who would get half of everything when they divorce! Just like men working on their 2nd or 3rd marriages to young trophy wives. lol

Marriage is something that each church decides for itself. You can't legislate a religious bond. A civil union is basically what is needed by gays or if you must, call it a "civil marriage".

I oppose redefining marriage. It has been defined as between a man and a woman for all of history, why would we think it makes sense to change that? If gays want to live together, nobody is stopping them.

Of course gays should be allowed to marry. They pay the same taxes as anyone else don't they?

Jay Leno said they should be able to get married and be as miserable as the rest of us ! A little humor there.

Oppose...go have one of those commitment thingys....marriage should be strictly b/t man and woman (hell thats how it was ment to be or gay people would be able to have kids naturally)

I dont mean to be harsh, i dont care if people are gay....i just think marriage is strictly for man and woman!
