I mean it is proven that physically unattractive people are treated worse than their attractive counter parts. They get paid less at work, they are treated poorly compared to the better looking by people in retail and food service occupations. Should they get an ugly card that gets them discounts at restaurants or a disability check from the government? What do you think? where do you draw the line of attractive and ugly?

They are very well known for producing and inducing decease and ultimately painful death and between them they cause millions of deaths worlwide per year against other illegal and natural substances?
Are tobacco, alcohol, the arm trade, pharmaceuticals, oil companies, banks and other monopolized activities the big winners nowadays?
Is it perhaps because of tax revenue and also because politicians and their supporters both consume alcohol and tobacco too?

There is a woman who works in our graduate office who is not only consistently rude, but also unknowledgable regarding, well, anything. Many people that I know have had run-ins with her (we are graduate students). Our degrees are not being processed in a timely manner. In addition, neither are our reimbursements (we get them 1.5 years after we turn them in!). She doesn't reply to e-mails and is just overall rude. For example, I haven't received a paycheck for quite some time and when I ask her about it, she tells me maybe I should budget my money. The problem isn't lack of money in my back account, the problem is I haven't gotten paid. Any ideas of how to proceed? I don't want to press any legal charges (I don't think there is a reason to), but I would like to get her either retrained or replaced.

Conspiracy to commit kidnapping, felony, 1-6 years.
Conspiracy to commit robbery, felony, 1-6 years.

I think that the $125,000 bail is pretty small for the charges he is up against.
And not only that - but he gets to go back to Florida?

Here we go again huh??? I bet he walks away with a fine.

He is facing - 41 - 105 years

I did post this question earlier & I thank all of you who responded. I guess I should have added more detail. If a person has been convicted and admitted to a crime, how can they years later say "I was insane" and get an att'y to represent them? Is this not a waste of tax payers $$$$

A friend of mine was almost murdered last month, and the assailant was just apprehended. The district attorney is not sure whether he wants to file attempted murder charges due to the fact that the victim was apprehensive at first about naming his attacker due to fear.

My question is, can his friends and family persuade the DA to go ahead and file the charges by phone calls, emails, letters, etc? And what would we say to the D.A in these appeals for justice?

Close relatives of mine have encountered incredible problems in these last couple of years here in Florida, especially in last six months. It's made me wonder how many others are going through same thing probably in all parts of the USA. I am extra concerned because some of them are senior citizens, some have lost home to foreclosure and to apparent illegal practice by mortgage lenders, etc. Unfortunately one of them has almost being homeless, and is now facing problems w/ utility company. I myself have tried to help in any and all ways possible, encountering a lot of bureaucracy in every government agency I've gone to. The problems my relatives are experiencing may seem slight to anyone not familiar with such a situation, but to me, who am always close by, know it is exrtremely difficult for them in all aspects. I know how government agencies work. That even when social workers care and want to help, they just can't because their hands are tied up. Any groups for people like this?

About 4 weeks ago a friend of mine had an AOL convo and the person he was talkin to said they were gonna gove his IP adress to the police. Nothing happened to my buddy for 4weeks. But thursday afternoon, in front of his neighboors house their was an investigater from the PD. His neighboor asked the investigator why he was in front of his house and he said he couldn't tell (i'd assume thats normal). This raises the question to me, is this a coincidence or should he be worried. I don't know what to tell em. On one hand why would it take 4 weeks for this and why would teh investigator stay in the car for an online/computer type of issue and not come back the next day at a different time when he maybe home? But on the other hand there aren't too many bad happenings in his neighboorhood so maybe they are looking for him. What do you guys think?

I got into a car accident back in January and the fault was technically mine. I thought everything to do with this matter had been laid to rest...until I received a warrant in debt last week in the amount of $15,000.00 I feel like I'm being taken for a ride here. Is my car insurance going to take care of this? I really don't know what I'm supposed to do. I certainly don't have 15,000 dollars nor do I think this woman deserves the money.
