Please don't tell me that you saw people being killed on TV. In person, please.

I went to a murder scene with the county coroner. The crime had already happened. A wife blew off the top of her husband's head with a 12 guage shotgun. She fired the second barrel and missed somehow. It was a rather messy scene, and after taking pictures, the coroner had to put the cadaver and all the body tissues and bone fragments he could find into a body bag. The remains were sent to a forensic pathologist, and the woman was charged with homicide.

I do not enjoy seeing death. I have seen people who have died of heart attacks right after they collapsed, but the sight of a crime scene is not nice.

I have not witnessed a murder but I did testify at a murder trial. I also worked with police to do the sketch of the suspect. It is a convoluded story but the murderer came into the business I worked at and left evidence in our dumpster. He acted weird while there which is why I noticed. He's jailed for life now for stabbing an elderly woman 23 times.

I witnessed a Voluntary Manslaughter...I was stationed at Ft Leonard Wood, Mo...a buddy and me went out to the bar that night...he got into a fight with a local over some girl at the bar...we got thrown out...when we were on our way home the guy rammed us from behind...we pulled over...when the guy got out of his truck he reached into his coat and said, "I got somethin' for you mo**her f**ker!" My buddy shot him, and then shot him five more times...we were both Medics, so I got my Aidbag out of the vehicle to treat the guy...but he was on his last leg...I did CPR, but every time I did the chest compressions blood squirted out his neck...the guy died...I had no idea my buddy had a gun, I thought we were just going to kick the guys butt, in my friends Court Marshal the judge said if he had only shot him once he would have gotten off ( the guy only had a tire tool, not a gun like my buddy thought) but he unloaded the weapon in him...the first shot got the guy in the throat...a Court Marshal is a scary thing for a 19 year old PFC...

Yes, several. No kidding. During the 70's I lived in South America, the military staged a coup and it was routine for the army to execute people, sometimes in broad daylight.

I saw a fatal hit and run--horrifying. Oh yeah--you wanted details (?) It was a Domino's pizza guy driving and the victim was some skinny little woman. 30 minutes or less, right?

Thankfully, no....nor have I seen anyone die of any other causes.

I've read some pretty heavy particulars regarding murders though. Although I still think reading the particulars on sexual assault cases (esp. with children involved) is worse.

I have seen one drug dealer shot by another (he did not die). Fortunately, despite the impression given by the news, most middle class people in this country are neither victims of nor witnesses to violent crimes.

Thank heavens, no. I'd like to think that murder is rare enough that the average person wouldn't have had the occasion to see one.

Yes, On September 11th 2001. I was watching TV and saw with my own eyes George Bush and his cronies murder 2000+ American citizens. It was horrifying. May God bless their souls.
