I mean it is proven that physically unattractive people are treated worse than their attractive counter parts. They get paid less at work, they are treated poorly compared to the better looking by people in retail and food service occupations. Should they get an ugly card that gets them discounts at restaurants or a disability check from the government? What do you think? where do you draw the line of attractive and ugly?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! So, who would determine if someone is ugly or not? A good looking judge or an ugly one? There are way too many people getting Social Security Disability for things like alcoholism... now you want ugly or fat to be compensated? So, my answer is NO!

being fat or ugly is definetly a disability. ugly people find it hard to get employment. people hire good looking people ove rugly. at the workplace if an ugly person is lucky to be hired he or she is harassed to the point of them wanting to quit. in most cases workmates harass aan ugly person hoping they will walk off the job or quit so yes ugly people deserve to be on disability if they are beign harassed or judged and not able to find work. why the hell shouldn't they be compensated. im not very attractive im on disability and id never ever go back to work. id never subject myself to the torture in the workplace. not any more. im living high making 15 hundred a month with the option to make extra money

No. Giving special benifiets to any one other than those with an actually disability is wrong. and I'm sorry but being fat and or ugly is not a disability it's just a fact of life. A wise man once told me that there is no such thing as an ugly women it's just that some are prettier on the outside than others.

Don't give them any idea. Just heard today that Governor Richardson (a democratic candidate for President) want obese people declared disabled and subject to protection under the law.

...Only "if" these people are "Illegals" who have jumped the Border and have a "fake" Social Security number and are getting food-stamps... Absolutely... provide them with a Lawyer as well... (we don't' want to offend anyone).

No. Disability means you can't compete as well because you're missing a leg or half your brain, not because of something you probably did to yourself (that you can also fix).
